The Departed (2006) 10/10
The most unpredictable movie I ever saw. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it.
I tried watching it twice and fell asleep both times. I stayed awake for the third time and it was fucking amazing.
Energy Drink before movie guarantees more enjoyment.

Energy Drink has never helped me stay awake.
Energy Drink has never helped me stay awake.
Well I don't mean drink it when you're tired because that just sends you to sleep.

Someone told me the movie was rubbish... I'm was not sure if the person was sarcastic until I saw the movie.
Deathly Hallows part 2, 8/10.
50/50
Funny, heartfelt, and had a good ending.
My friends who were hoping for a stoner comedy were somewhat dissapointed, and thought the movie sucked because there weren't enough sex/drug jokes. (i disagree)
Wish they marketed the movie differently.

Harry Potter's great, anyone know when the Boxset comes out?
Inglourious Basterds - 8.5/10
"cousin, business is a-boomin'."
The Adventures of Tintin - 8.5/10
Probably one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in a while. Very much looking forward to a sequel.
Diary of the Dead - 1/10
On the one hand it has a really cool premise and brutal gore effects... on the other hand the acting and dialogue was so unbelievably bad that it was almost painful to watch.
It also seemed to try way too hard to be a political and social commentary like the previous 'of the Dead' movies.
I fucking loved Inglourious Basterds. One of the few movies I've actually gone out and bought on Blu-Ray.
I think Inglourious Basterds may be my favorite Tarantino-film. I feel like he finally mastered the art of building up tension. The characters own. And the WWII-western setting is beyond brilliant.
The Thing (2011)
It was kinda bad. The CGI was quite lacking at times and I loath the fact that [sp]the girl didn't die. I also felt like it tied together with Carpenter's The Thing really poorly.[/sp]
6/10
it had it's moments
It relied on kick-in-the-cock jokes too much, I feel. But was still funny.
I loved 1408, one of the better physiological thrillers. [sp]The part where his dead daughter is brought back only to die in his arms is extremely fucked up.[/sp]
I liked the ending the most.
[sp]"Oh don't be silly, you were just hallucinating and all that jazz"
"Oh hey, the tape recorder I had with me!"[/sp]
Watched the Big Lewboski again 10/10
One of my all time favorites, so many memorable scenes and quotes.
Event Horizon
7.8/10
Didn't find it very scary but it had nice atmosphere. The ending did kinda want me wanting more though but overall pretty good space horror movie.
Although [sp]the fight scene at the end between Miller and Weir had really cheesy stock sound effects and it really ruined some of the immersion[/sp]
Another Earth - a solid 8.5/10
It is a 70 year old movie.
Well I watched Metropolis(90 year old film) which I thought was fantastic but I guess it has a more straightforward and less Freudian plot
Where did you get it?
If you're talking about the movie you can watch it on netflix
The Last Samurai
8/10
Loved the music.
Dude where's my car
9/10
That shit was amazing, I feel bad for not watching it earlier.
Dude...
Dude...
Where's you car?
Well I watched Metropolis(90 year old film) which I thought was fantastic but I guess it has a more straightforward and less Freudian plot
Well Metropolis was an art film, so in ways it had more to tell but it had a less accessible personality as compared to Citizen Kane.

I watched Sofia Coppola's latest movie "Somewhere".
I don't know how she does it but each of her movies have a certain mood that captures the viewer. It's a type of sadness or hope that I've never seen in any movie. This is probably most obvious in Lost In Translation but this movie has it too.
8/10
Superb.
A Fistful of Dollars (1964)- 8.5/10
Great film, first of the Sergio Leone western films I've seen. It was on TV last night and I've been wanting to watch them for ages so I took advantage of it haha. need to watch the rest.
Watched Sweeney Todd (2007, the Tim Burton one)not long after as well. 7/10, I've never really been fond of the idea of a musical (not seen very many at all though) but this did it very well, it wasn't ridiculous and over the top with song and dance or anything. Liked it quite a lot.

You might like "A Few Dollars More" better, but the almighty last one is hilarious.
Honestly, it's probably the best trilogy I've ever seen. Even more so than Godfather because it's the only one where it gets better and bigger as you progress.
Yeah I've got all 3 and once upon a time in the west in a box set actually, just never got round to watching them lol. I will eventually. Heard they're all really good.
Yeah, just make sure you have a stack of time and just throw them on. They're not difficult to watch and it's good fun.

aw dude, just watch them all in a row. OUATITW is different from the dollars trilogy and other leone films in that it's more slow-paced, and there are a lot of silent scenes (mostly the ones with charles bronson), but the movie is still fucking awesome.
also, ennio morricone in this bitch
OUATITW
That's part of a trilogy in itself btw.
All About Eve
