Okay tonight I'm gonna go get lit then watch Drive. I'll return with my opinions later
That's part of a trilogy in itself btw.
It probably should have been, it felt way longer than 2h 45m.

What dyou mean?
I meant it's part of the "Once Upon A Time..." trilogy.
Went to see Contagion with my girlfriend tonight. It was a decent movie, not brilliant, as it seemed to lack suspense, and I failed to feel the magnitude of how many people were dying. Good acting performances from a good cast though.
7/10
Scream 4 - 7.5/10...
It was actually a lot better than I thought it'd be.
Typical Scream with even more ridiculous twists than ever before.
Oh and it also had Hayden Panetierre, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, and Alison Brie all in one fucking movie.
Splooged everywhere.
Footloose. 3/10. I outgrew these movies when I was in High School. and the actors look no where near High school age; Mature boobs.
The Last Samurai
8/10
Lovely soundtrack, great story progression and amazing choreography.
Tom Cruise did really good in this one (IMO).

His best performance by far was in Magnolia imo.

Oh, derp, I forgot about that. I mean that OUATITW itself could be split over three films.
Captain America
6/10
there were dozens of niggling bit I didn't really like but I did love the transition from goofy punch hitler in the face captain america to real deal superhero. Excellent display of the old comics while transitioning pretty smoothly in to something more modern. Would not watch again but I was sufficiently entertained
Toy Story 3- 8.5/10 Not sure why I took so long to get around to watching it, but very worth the wait, I had already spoiled myself on the plot when it was released, but that incinerator scene got to me when they were holding hands.
Drive - 9/10
I really really really liked this film. Yes I was partially sozzled but I can still tell good from bad. Me and this guy who is doing a lot of film based modules had a really interesting discussion afterwards concerning direction of the movie

Heartless
8.5/10
Was actually really good, at first I thought it was a horror movie, but it was actually a psychological thriller. Was worth the watch.
[editline]31st October 2011[/editline]
The soundtrack is also awesome, great songs in there.
The Shining.
9.5
Loved it but some things seemed spectacularly out of place to me

Fucking bears man
The answer to all those weird things is
Stanly Kubrick.
Deathly Hallows part 2, 8/10.
really? I thought it did a pretty bad job of ending the series
the height of the story and it seemed to just kind of fizzle out at the end of it
there was no real impact for me

Oicani Gonzales and GunskiMod, why did you rate this dumb? What about this post is dumb? I went out with friends before we went to the cinema, and we tied one on because we hadn't seen eachother in like a week. I don't see what's dumb about that
edit: like I'm not angry I'm just confused
The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn
9/10
Very good. The most visually stunning film I've seen since Avatar.
Guess this is as good place as any to ask, Any recommendations on war movies? (Doesn't matter if its old or new or what war its about)

Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, Paths of Glory, Jarhead, Schindler's List, Thin Red Line, Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, Das Boot, Der Untergang, Patton, Flags from our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima.
Pick and choose and enjoy.
[editline]31st October 2011[/editline]
also The Pianist.
We really need some new war movies that have a British focus... I'm getting tired of American ones all the time...
War Horse is coming December. Although it's mainly about a horse there's some big focus on the British forces during WW1.
Disney pixar's up
9/10

Why would you give something a 4/10 if you thought it was a waste of time and even fell asleep?
