Even though it wasn't so good, it was definitely worth a watch. Should've had a different actor instead of Cusack.
Nick Cage shoulda done it.
This is rusty when i say his favorite movie is shit
personally that's more like it
Tintin 8.5/10
Tintin 8.5/10
Going to see that in 2 hours
Just watched The Mist (2007) Fuck me if that isn't one of the most bleak, depressing movies I've ever seen. The overall ending is positive, but my god does it make you feel like shit 10/10, if only because of how incredible they managed to capture how bleak something like that would be. Fuck.
Loved it too, but how was the overall ending positive? It has the most negative ending of any movie I can remember right now.
personally that's more like it
but mine actually looks like rusty!
im flattered
The Faculty, 9/10. Great movie, great cast, great spin on the Invasion of the Body Snatchers formula. Hilarious reinterpreting of The Thing's blood test scene. Extremely rare Jon Stewart film role. Directed by Robert Rodriguez. What's not to love?
The Adventures Of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn 9/10 A surprisingly well made movie with great animation, fun characters (well, of course) and good action. One of the best new movies I've seen this year.
Shark Night 4/10 Generic shark cliché movie
Shark Night 4/10 Generic shark cliché movie
why would even watch that?
In Time 5/10 Reminds me of Daybreakers, but with a worse concept. Tintin 8/10 Beautiful and fun, but it felt a bit short for me. The Guard 9/10 It's like Kopps and In Bruges mixed together. Extremely vulgar and entertaining.
BAADASSSSS! **** Awesome movie about the making of the flick, Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song and it was made by the son of the guy who made that movie. Sweet was poorly made but its impact was huge. This is a great look at the making of a movie on a shoestring budget and a man with tons of passion.
A.I 7.5/10 Pretty good movie, but many parts felt like they were overstretched and could've been cut. The soundtrack was kinda weak aswell. [sp]The movie could've ended at the fairy under the water. But the aliens gave a very unexpected twist and thus they became one of the more memorable characters in the movie. Still I've always liked an ending where the watcher himself gets to speculate about what happens, so the movie ending at the fairy would've been good aswell.[/sp] I probably had way too high expectations for this movie. But it was a worthy watch.
you're right, it should have ended there. the only problem is it's a steven spielburg fairytale. so that's a nono [editline]4th November 2011[/editline] also jude law is awesome in it
"Hey Joe, what'd ya know?"
Dinner for Schmucks 8/10 I really enjoyed and had some great laughs haha Also, brain control :v:
Poltergeist 4/10 I bet it was really scary back in the 80's, but not anymore (in my opinion anyways). I didn't care too much for the story or the characters either.
Diary of the Dead - 6.5/10 A bit corny at times, but still had good zombie fun. Romero's knack for the underlying social commentary in his zombie films was really apparent in this one.
6/10? I'd have given it -100/10, easily one of the all time worsts
I give it a 3/10, mostly for the the teacher and the Amish guy. other then that the whole movie is a pile of shit.
Fargo 8.5/10 The plot is truly insane
Fargo 8.5/10 The plot is truly insane
It's one of the more sane plots compared to other Coen Brothers movies.
rocky horror picture show 7/10 in theaters: 8.5/10
I love the songs in it
Gonna give "World's greatest dad" a watch today.
Gonna give "World's greatest dad" a watch today.
Good movie. I'll watch Midnight in Paris or Thin Red Line today.
Didn't like the thin red line. terrence malick is a pretentious asshole
Didn't like the thin red line. terrence malick is a pretentious asshole
Watch the "Tree of Life". It's even more pretentious and awesome.
Dead Man: 10/10 Absolutely beautiful cinematography, and an amazing soundtrack as well. I really really loved this movie and will definitely watch it again soon.
