Just scored Machete and The Big Lebowski blurays for a tenner each. Guess what I'll be watching tomorrow?

Pink Floyd The Wall - ?/10 My head still trying to figure it out what I saw and the messages that I got from it. [editline] today [/editline] Also, some possible unwanted nightmares(bizarre, disturbing, masks).
breaking dawn
Yes, maybe chop my testicles off while I'm at it.
Seven Pounds (as suggested on facepunch) I sobbed. What a great movie. 8.5/10
I honestly think the entire saga is just awful
Exactly, dude. Some of the worst made movies I've seen in recent memory. The acting is bad, the writing is bad, the effects are bad, these are just beautifully bad movies.
But that doesn't get you into the "so bad it's good" category. That just leaves you at the "king of shit" pile. Piranha 3D was "so bad it's good" because the whole movie itself is a joke, and it treats it like so. It's a shit movie that's somewhat enjoyable, Twilight has absolutely nothing positive about it (also kinda gives a bad rep for Muse imo, they're such a great band but really got popular in the US because of shit movies, sadface).
Paprika 10/10 mostly for this scene
What. The. Fuck?
It's actually so bad it's funny at times. Jacob gets a wedding invitation from Bella near the beginning. His reaction? He rips off his shirt and runs. Seriously. They know who their target demographic is. [editline]21st November 2011[/editline] I honestly think the entire saga so far is worth a watch simply for the "so-bad-it's-good" factor.
Working at a cinema, I saw a scene of it when I did a cinema check, i was convinced it's a comedy. Everything's so awkward and formulaic it just looks intentionally funny.
Matilda 10/10 Matilda is cute, she's smart and her magic is impressive ^_l
Telekinesis, more like
What. The. Fuck?
seriously that's probably the least creepy scene in paprika as far as the creepy scenes go. the fucking doll's face. if i was a pussy still i'd have had nightmares over that shit.
Good Night, And Good Luck Just... how...George Clooney was BATMAN, and he did this. 9/10 The Reader worthy movie, somewhat underrated and enjoyable. 8/10
Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars - 7/10 I thoroughly all of farscape, well maybe season 1 wasn't that great, but the rest I really liked. Even though I was slightly predisposed to dislike the fourth season I think I remained fairly fair in my judgement over all. It felt like they start to lose track of where they were going and were trying to tie it all up. The Peacekeeper Wars was fairly solid overall, however, I don't usually like it when there is a focus on pregnancy and childbirth. I believe it was a necessary addition to the series and I don't see how they could have finished it any better. A History Of Violence - 7.5/10 I really enjoyed this film. However I don't believe it was a great film. It was enjoyable but it felt unbalanced for some reason. Falling Down - 7.5/10 Didn't like the ending.
My Soul to Take 5/10 Cmon Wes Craven, I know you can do better that that.
Red State 8.5/10
Melancholia: 9/10
Hook: 7/10 my personal scale: 10/10
I always rate movies on my 'personal scale'.
Step Brothers: 9/10 Still fucking hilarious in my eyes, no matter how immature it is. I don't even care.
Yes, this times a thousand. I don't see how anyone couldn't laugh at the end where they dressed up as Nazis and Klansmen.
Telekinesis, more like
yeah that
Drive - 9/10 Excellent Movie. Everyone who likes movies should have seen this.
the cops who do our weekend security at the cinema told me drive sucked they also hated no country for old men and then went on to say that they needed more movies like the transporter 3 [editline]22nd November 2011[/editline] I'm not one to believe in wrong opinions generally but wow
Gladiator - 8.5/10 I remember seeing this when I was young, and remembered how it ended so a lot was taken away from the experience, but it was sweet to come back to it and actually understand what was going on. It had great story progression, and great characters to go along with it, I genuinely didn't want [sp]the slaves to die.[/sp] The battle scenes were brilliant too.
Drive - 9/10 Excellent Movie. Everyone who likes movies should have seen this.
2hrs of pokerface.
Today I watched Tank on netflix. 10/10 A legitimately awesome movie. James Garner rocked ass.
do we have a definitive list of what you can watch on netflix instant? would be quite handy especially if the person who compiled the list put metacritic and IMDB scores next to each of them. shows and movies. also a number beside each movie or show of people who recommend a watch.
The Devils Rejects: 8/10 I think that Rob Zombie has some real fucked up ideas on what to make movies about but it doesn't go astray that he has improved since the House Of 1000 Corpses. (Witch is a giant acid trip and a kick to the dick.) But anyways the movie had some good parts, the gore, the tits, the hillbilly's. Its a slasher movie, what more do you want? The movie gets a bonus point due to the kick ass ending.
Been on a mad rifftrax spree lately showing my friends. Most of their stuff is great but the best I would have to say: High School Musical Birdemic The Last Airbender Paranormal Activity All deserve 5/5. Only one I've seen so far that I would really say is bad is the xXx riffs. Mostly cause only one of the 3 actually riffed the movie.
public enemies 8.5/10
The filming looked damn amateur. [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] Is in time any good? Thinking of watching it
The filming looked damn amateur. [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] Is in time any good? Thinking of watching it
i really didn't like public enemies. it wasn't shot in 24 fps and it looked REALLY bad. and no, in time is not any good. A Dangerous Method: 7/10 Outrage: 8/10
