Finally saw Requiem for a Dream - 8/10
Wasn't really as intense as everyone hyped it up to be, but it was still really scary and a great film. I was on the edge of my seat in a weird quiet sort of way. I didn't particularly like the ending, probably because I'm so used to seeing the fairy-tale ending shit in the cinemas these days.
I just watched "The Debt"..
jesus.. it's one of the best movies I have ever seen.. I'm still overwhelmed by the awesomeness of this movie.
my rating is 9.9/10, wait 10/10.
My heart is gonna explode soon..

the trailer doesn't look impressive so much.. but this movie....
I probably going to remember forever... outstanding!
the story is just so deep!!
I'm not one of these guys who like "The Transformers" Series with the ridiculous explosions..
wait, childish explosions, well then... But i always like spy movies.
any other deep movies like this one? PLZ!
The Crazies - 7/10
Good movie, pretty intense. I particularly didn't like the ending, but [sp]the "containment protocol" that had to be initiated again at the end was the most realistic ending there could have been. Obviously I would have been okay with the "happy ending" which kind of goes against the last movie I just rated but I feel this one would have been better with a simpler ending.[/sp]
The Last Samurai 9/10
Just watched Repo Men, it was okay. The world in it had a Philip K. Dick feeling about it. Probably 6.5, maybe 7/10

hehe ye. i cunt speel goot
law abiding citizen. 8/10
i didn't watch it, cause it was spoiled for me, until now. but it was on netflix and i had some time to kill cause i was trying to fix my fucked up external hard drive that was copying files way to fucking slow and with errors (turns out after tinkering with it for almost a fucking day all i had to do was unplug it and plug it back in).
[sp]people had said that the tunnels part to it was stupid but i think it was actually a pretty good motif. i mean the dude was a brilliant wet worker and he had 10 years to prepare.[/sp] plus i'm sort of a gerard butler fangirl... BIG SEXY SCOTTISH GUY YEEEE
[editline]25th November 2011[/editline]
also the ending was really good
[sp]one of the few really well done main character deaths in my opinion. the slow motion explosion of the bomb around him as he looked at his daughter's little bracelet she made for him made his death feel like something.[/sp]

i dont really feel like going on my tirade about how nothing in the movie made sense and how it was a piece of shit for the 10th time, can u just look up why it's such a retarded and nonsensical movie instead?
eXistenZ - 7.9/10
Wasn't good enough to get an eight, the acting wasn't that great. But damn it was pretty damn cool, it's like a better inception.

That is the most retarded name for a movie I have ever read.

it all made perfect sense to me. he had ten years to prepare and was a genius mastermind.
Stand By Me - 8.5/10...
Haven't seen this in like 12 years and I still love it.
idk i dont get all the justin timberlake hate. i dont like his music but he seems like a pretty good entertainer and has been good in other roles i've seen him in
I don't hate justin timberlake, I liked him a lot in the social network, I just don't think he's the sort cut out for an action role and he really didn't do a very good job in "In Time"
he doesn't really have that action look to him. probably because i grew up with n-sync.
Re-watched The Big Lebowski.
10/10
Watched taken again
5/10
Liam Neeson will find you, Ignhelper.
The Thing 2011, well, it sucked. In the beginning of the movie it felt as if the characters in the movie all watched the old movie, there was so much cliches in characters and development that I wonder if they were intentional and there was literally zero suspense throughout the movie.
A few of the monsters was really cool but some just felt off.
Can recommend it if you want to see a stupid action flick with monsters.
The Shawshank Redemption
10/10, one of my favourite movies of all time
Shawshank Redemption - 11/10 (fuck da popo)
Brooks made me sob, Tommy made me angry, the ending made me fuzzy, the whole film was goddamn perfection.
What is with all the disagrees, and dumbs? People have a right to their own opinion and if your going to say otherwise, at least back it up rather than just clicking a button..
50/50 - 8.5/10
Not bad.

Why?
The ratings are there for a reason.
Chowboys and Aliens
6/10
Ugh that movie felt waay too long.

Ok, here we go.
None of the characters actions made sense. They had little to no reason to do anything they did.
1. Why was a district attorney investigating Gerard Butler? He is an attorney, not a detective. He has no business or reason for doing half the things he did in that movie. Why is he doing it? Just because. And people keep getting killed because he's doing it. Yet he continues to do it, despite it not at all being his job.
2. Here's my most glaring problem with the film. Spoilers follow: why is it, that when Jamie Foxx and the police, upon discovered Gerard's plan and route of access outside of the prison, decided to blow Gerard up? Like, they killed him. They made him blow himself up. There's a lot of things wrong with this, the first being culpible for his death, and the second being they had absolutely no reason to do this.
Not only could they have sealed up Gerard's prison exit, locking him in there for good, but Jamie Foxx managed to get back to the prison, plant the bomb in gerards cell, and leave, before Gerard even got back, despite Gerard having a heads up. Now, assuming he really did have all this time, surely the bomb could have been diffused or disposed of? Have time to take the bomb somewhere? Why not take it to a landfil, instead of making Gerard Murder himself, and blow up a small portion of a prison (which might even allow other prisoners to escape), especially since they found the path Gerard was using to exit the prison. You have him. He's fucked. He can't get out once you seal that shut, he is, for all intents and purposes, foiled.
Why the fuck do they need to blow him up, if they indeed had enough time to get back to the prison even before he did and plant it there?
Jamie Foxx would be trialed for his part in Gerard's death, surely he knows this. It's a much better idea to take the bomb somewhere where there's no people and maybe damage some uninhabited land slightly, rather than severely damage a prison and kill a man.
Really fucking stupid movie.

Really fucking stupid movie.
You don't make sense.
Really fucking stupid opinion.
Can't you just chill and enjoy it? No wonder you hate so many movies.
except I actually elaborated and explained why it was stupid, you're just being silly
13 Assassins
8.7/10
Very good samurai film
And I do chill and enjoy things, but sometimes the things that are wrong with a film are so glaring and insulting, I can't ignore them. That film was hitting me over the head every time a character did something, 'What? Why would they do that? How is that an appropriate reaction to the situation??' every time anything happened
Watched Taken again, 10/10

It is a shitty ending, but it didn't hit me as hard as you did. I wanted Jamie Foxx to die, but I'm pretty sure the writer is only doing it because he doesn't want to make himself look like he's on the criminal's side.
I apologize for my rage at you. Its just that you always seem so negative towards all kinds of movies.
