50/50 7/10 it was enjoyable, although predictable. it was well written and often quite sad. with strong and likeable lead performances by seth rogan and joseph gordon levitt and some heavy cancer themes it stood out from your average romcom, though don't be fooled, it is a romcom. just, one with a lot more depth and themes of mortality too.
Seems rather low budget also.
the fighting in warrior is absolutely amazing feels so raw and visceral
i am not a fighting fan or anything but it did seem very real
The Sunset Limited with Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson. 9/10 Really powerfull movie about a religious man (Jackson) who saves a depressed teacher (Jones)[sp]from jumping in front of a train[/sp]. The entire movie takes place in a room in which they try to convince each other of their beliefs. Jackson is amazing as always, delivering some of his best speeches since Pulp Fiction. Tommy Lee Jones plays his role very subtle but is equally amazing. It brings across some really interresting points of discussion so be sure to watch it with some friends!
Just saw batman:year one. Awesome batman:under the red hood is just as good too. I think bats is the best comic book story ever.
In my opinion, the story is really uninteresting. Its the characters that really make Batman great.
i love batman he is just basically the coolest character there is. he is endlessly deep, and he's also a total bad ass. he has the perfect villain too.
Persona 8/10
I like that movie too although I'm still trying to find out what the flashing penis at the beginning has to do with anything.
L.A. Confidential 10/10 Really really smart, interesting, yet traditional movie. Takes its time, uses it. Awesome actors with awesome acting. A classic.
I like that movie too although I'm still trying to find out what the flashing penis at the beginning has to do with anything.
You show an erect penis to get the attention of a viewer for the rest of the film. Or, Ingmar Bergman really likes boners a lot.
I like that movie too although I'm still trying to find out what the flashing penis at the beginning has to do with anything.
I had a good laugh at that part.

evil dead II, 9/10 i love it so much, the transfer on the new bluray was great "I'LL SWALLOW YOUR SOUL! I'LL SWALLOW YOUR SOUL! I'LL SWALLOW YOUR SOUL!"
The Room: 5/10 I give it 5 just for Tommy Wiseau's hilariously bad lines and just how his voice is.
Open Range - 10/10 Awesome fucking movie, firefight at the end is of legendary status. Go to 1:55
My Dinner With Andre 10/10 Man I haven't been caught up in a film for such a long time and I come to one and it doesn't even really have a plot. These are one of those movies which are unlike any other and you hear about the premise and you go, "really they made a movie about that?" but when you see it it really knows how to stay up on that tightrope. The reason the movie works so well is because the dialogue is just brilliant. The two actors make it feel alive and I was listening attentively throughout the whole film. The whole movie is just a conversation between Paulie from the Rocky series and the titular Andre taking place over a dinner at a fancy restaurant. The former is a more down-to-earth guy. He likes his electric blanket and says if you're happy with it, then what more could you want? Andre says his electric blanket is preventing him from really getting the feeling of being alive and gaining experiences. And yeah that metaphor is used in the film. Whichever guy whose views and philosophies you agree on this movie will get you thinking a great deal after it's still over. It's one of the biggest achievements in movies and if you care about film as an art form then you have to go see it. Otherwise, you are a terrible person.
Disturbia 6.5/10 The plot is as predictable as taking a piss after a beer. Sort of enjoyable movie.

Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus 4/10 Really pretty bad. I would have rated it higher, but it was just too insincere to make its badness funny. The best scene was the one where the shark leapt out of the ocean and grabbed the plane, and that's really all you need to see.
shaun of the dead 10/10 so good to watch stoned
The Help - 9/10 Good book, good movie.
