as born is 1993, I don't find them attractive
Probably a dullerd, I'm guessing.

disliking movies just because they were made and released before the 21st century doesn't make any sense.
It kind of does when you consider that they're dullerds.
as born is 1993, I don't find them attractive
That doesn't even make any sense. So, no matter what kind of movie it is, if it was made before 2000 you know you won't like it? Without knowing what it's about or anything about it?
as born is 1993, I don't find them attractive
that's a terrible reason. maybe you should go watch sucker punch instead :)
Take Shelter - 9/10
Well paced and acted. Kept me interested through it's long length. Had a very good ending.
Hugo - 7/10
Felt very long and dull but interesting enough. Very good cinematography and visuals but Scorsese should stick to mature movies.
dull but interesting
That's good to hear.
why must you twist my words so
why must you twist my words so
You wrote it mate, all I do is grab the bit I see.
In Time 5/10
Good concept, bad movie. I didn't understand the story at all, it was just people running away from people and shit happening. I should watch again to understand it but I really don't feel like it.
[editline]4 December 2011[/editline]
The hottie compesated the experience though.
You wrote it mate, all I do is grab the bit I see.
"dull but interesting enough" has a very different meaning to "dull but interesting". For one, the first actually makes sense. It seems you have a mental disability if the latter is the bit you see.
Muppets: 8.5/10
what can I even say about this, i loved it
I heard this movie was really good. Thing is, I was never a fan when I was younger. I don't think I'll see it in theaters, maybe on DVD.
Neither was I, see it anyway
Man on the Moon: 9/10
Jim Carrey's acting in this movie is so good. One of his best roles, imo.

I love Jim Carrey. Mostly his older movies like The Truman Show and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
Oh and looking at clips of Andy Kaufman, I have to say he really nailed the portrayal of Andy.
Super 8
Super 10/10
Super 8
Super 10/10
It was a good movie. But giving it a 10/10 would really be quite the overkill.
Paranormal activity 3: 4/10
They are getting worse everytime.
all of them sucks
New Moon, Eclipse 3/10 both
ignoring all the hate against these movies, I tried my best to watch them and give an honest opinion. Complete shit. The story is just dumb,it's essentially based on fighting over a girl that's totally not worth all the fuss. The characters are complete retards with an irrational and stupid way of thinking. The movie itself is just boring and stale. Nothing much happens except for people looking in each others eyes promising shit and saying phrases that look like they were read directly off facebook. The fighting scenes are rare, badly edited with slow motion put where it isn't required.
Bella, the protagonist, is awful. Stupid, retarded and just falls in love with every macho man she sees and wants to risk her life to get laid with them. Idiotic films. Complete garbage.
1951 version INFINITELY better sorry
While that might be true (I didn't watch it yet, I mostly watch 1980-2011 movies) that doesn't meant that the new version isn't awesome too. I don't get why I got so many dumbs...
I found the new version plain boring. It begins alright, but during the movie hardly anything happens and it ends in a way that I didn't understand at all (and i don't have the patience to rewatch). I don't see what's so good about it.

I think you're too kind to even give it a 3

it was generally considered to be a pretty shit film
[editline]5th December 2011[/editline]
i would agree
People want to look for answers, I want it to be presented to me when I watch it.
It's all good when we're talking about symbolism about something someone says or how they act, but the discussion that went with Inception was a humungous about of "scanning every pixel for clues".
well when you saw inception that's what you got, wasn't it? even if not scrutinizing the film for minor details and clues and just taking it all for what you see the first time is your deal, you still get an enjoyable experience on a superficial level
maybe you're not one to think too hard about the film you just saw, but that doesn't mean that subtle details put in for the people who do examine it further lack depth.

It was pretty clear what happened... it wasn't perfect and I can understand if you wouldn't rate it as high as 9/10 if you cared about different things than I did (that kid was an annoying asshole), but overall it's still not a bad movie.

I'm all for hidden meanings and things to add depth but I'm just not convinced that there really is a simple answer for the ending.
It's not really a movie I'd ask questions to, something like "The Conversation" or "Vertigo" has deeper meanings. But Inception to me is just a concept that is spread out in many directions.
Maybe I'll actually sit down and watch Inception today. Is it really as good as everyone says it is?

Just watch it with open arms, you'll enjoy it.

Lol.
I know I'd recommend sucker punch to anyone too stupid to actually appreciate films

because overall it's just not that great
although keanu reeves was perfect for it since he doesnt seem to actually understand the concept of emotion anyway
