Why walk out on a movie you paid for and obviously knew was going to be bad (unless you've been living under a rock)?
I paid little
also kind of a silly story, it took me a while after we decided on the movie for me to realize which movie the translated title meant (stvor = the thing, doy). In the end I was really uninterested, and my two friends wanted to leave so I gladly left with them.
Jackass 3 7/10
I was slightly drunk while watching it, but I laughed out loud a good number of times.

She never has sex with an Alien, they just makeout.
Never seen any of the Predator or Alien movies either, I feel left out when a discussion about these starts

Watch them.
But stop after Predator 1, and stop after Aliens (or the DC version of Alien 3)

That's how you bang aliens, how could you not know??? Jesus christ
Drive
9/10
Was worried that I would've been overhyped for it since everyone kept talking about how amazing it was but it definitely led up to my expectations. Sadly I doubt it'll get fair recognition at the Oscars because these types of movies never win those

No, nothing else all year has compared to Drive.
Last movie watched in theaters:
Immortals = 4/10 (though watching it on a huge ass screen in 3D was pretty cool)
Last movie watched:
Heahters = 9/10
Snatch

Love this and Lock, Stock. Such a unique film style.
Unbreakable 8.2/10
I forgot how good the old M. Night movies were
[editline][/editline]
If M. Night Shamanama stopped making movies at Signs, he'd have been a well respected movie maker.
Did he even make a single decent movie after Signs?
I've only seen The Happening and Last airbender, which were both cringy the whole movie long
I am still 100% sure that The Happening is a comedy, and Shamalononon is just fucking with us.
Maybe it was really the plan to make bad movies and then explain the twist at the end of his career.
The Departures.

Great plot, great creatures
Alien 4 can't be THAT bad. I'm putting it off from seeing until Prometheous is out.
The reason for this is because I don't want to know that the Alien franchise was almost doomed. It's better this way. :)
Fight Club (1999) 9/10
too
good

Andrei Tarkovskiy's Stalker from 1979.

Different people like different things.
If you watched Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times, then you're good.

I really loved "The Fighter", from last year

Dead man's shoes. If you haven't seen it be prepared for a grim but amazing experience

Magnolia, it's a pretty great ensemble film that you might like.

Apocalypse Now is probably my favorite film ever made.

Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Alien, Aliens, The Thing (1982), Clockwork Orange, The Shining, or Apocolypse Now, just to name a few.
Looking for a comedy, definitely watch The Big Lebowski.
I just watched Aguirre, The Wrath of God and I noticed this movie has a lot of similarities with Apocalypse Now. Aguirre was made before that so maybe Frank Coppola's watched Aguirre? Aguirre, the Wrath of God is about Spanish conquerors down on the Amazon looking for the lost city of gold, El Dorado. A lot of people die and they have a miserable time except for Aguirre himself who is mad bent on finding this city and conquering the land. Like Apocalypse Now the movie has a theme of the vulnerability of man in nature. Klaus Kinski gives a great performance as the titular character mostly because he was extremely tired and frustrated during the filming of the movie. The director, Werner Herzog, threatened Klaus with a gun, and Klaus shot off an extra's finger because the card game he was in was making too much noise. Anyway this perfectly captures the crappy side of film making, and reminds me never to go to the jungle ever again. 9.98/10.
