Batman Begins - 7/10
Maybe I would have rated it higher if I had seen it before The Dark Knight, but since I haven't, and it's not as half as good as the second movie, then that's it I guess.
Like someone said already, it feels like a generic superhero movie, and IMO it had some pretty bad fight scenes. I loved a few moments of it, though, specially the last scene.
The Man From Earth - 7.5/10
X-Men First Class - 8.5/10
Van Helsing 7/10
I don't know why it's gotten so many negative reviews everywhere. It's not a perfect film, but it's not exactly shitty either.

I just felt like there's nothing really special about it

I got it for Sinterklaas when I was like 12, loved it back then. Doesn't quite hold up today though, cgi is crappy, cheesy dialogue. But it's a fun action movie. You shouldn't expect something deep.
Van Helsing is the first film I remember jumping at the cinema (the part where the werewolf jumps out the bushes or something)
Anyone know any good musical?
NO, Not high school musical. My 8 year old cousin forced me, and If I didn't, she'll cry about how I'm bullying her.
fucking twat.
Rating? 0/10
The Machinist.
8/10
Really good movie, had me feeling really horrible for the characters in it. I'm not sure if I missed the point slightly, though, because I felt like if there was meant to be a twist to the plot that it was all pretty obvious the entire way through. I still really enjoyed watching it all unfold, though.
Grease any good?
Oh yeah, grease is cool too. Singin' In The Rain is often voted as best musical.
Fiddler on the Roof. One of my favorite musicals of all time.
Sweeney todd?

Which is? Grease or SITR?
I just watched Aguirre, The Wrath of God and I noticed this movie has a lot of similarities with Apocalypse Now. Aguirre was made before that so maybe Frank Coppola's watched Aguirre? Aguirre, the Wrath of God is about Spanish conquerors down on the Amazon looking for the lost city of gold, El Dorado. A lot of people die and they have a miserable time except for Aguirre himself who is mad bent on finding this city and conquering the land. Like Apocalypse Now the movie has a theme of the vulnerability of man in nature. Klaus Kinski gives a great performance as the titular character mostly because he was extremely tired and frustrated during the filming of the movie. The director, Werner Herzog, threatened Klaus with a gun, and Klaus shot off an extra's finger because the card game he was in was making too much noise. Anyway this perfectly captures the crappy side of film making, and reminds me never to go to the jungle ever again. 9.98/10.
It is said to have directly been inspired by it. I'll have to watch that.

West Side Story
Guys and Dolls
Fiddler On The Roof (damn it, people have already said these haven't they?)
The Wizard of Oz (The Wiz isn't bad, but it's better for the music)
Jesus Christ Superstar
Bye Bye Birdie
Anything Goes
Also, are you just looking for a good musical film, or do you want a good musical film with good music in it?
Which is? Grease or SITR?
Grease
Contagion
8/10
Grease
It's an infinitely better high school musical I guess.
Best musicals ever, you say?
Sweeney Todd
Singin' In The Rain
Mary Poppins
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Just my opinion, anyway.
Oh yeah, rocky horror picture show is incredible. Not to everyone's taste mind you.
If you like it around here, it instantly makes you "gay", though.
Say what?
I thought Rocky Horror tried too hard to be campy. Didn't really like it. Some of the songs were pretty catchy though.
Contagion worth watching?
ive heard people say the soundtrack is good

Is The Shawshank Redemption really that good?
It's like a Feel Good Movie for guys, made me crack a big smile at the end
