the hangover 8/10, wish it was longer
Then go watch the sequel, I'm sure you'll love it.
The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser 1974 Wernar Herzog film about a man who is imprisoned all his life and suddenly is let out to roam in high society. The time is the 1800's in Germany and certain manners are expected. His odd behaviour makes him a facination of those around him because he says whats in his mind and is totally honest about what he wants. Reading a bit of background about this film and who the main actor was who played him made it all the more facinating. If you like this, Herzog's other film Fitzcarraldo and the making of that film Burden of Dreams is a must see for film lovers. The 70's really was a golden age of cinema.
People can think what they want but I found The Hangover original and funny. Not laugh out loud funny, but it had it's moments and the story really kept me in alert to find out what was going to happen.
Then go watch the sequel, I'm sure you'll love it.
...was that an insult

Insomia by Chris Nolan 9/10. Would get a 10/10 if not a remake.
The Hangover 2 just totally reused all the jokes that were in the first one. It felt like they were trying way too hard to be funny.
Sleeping Beauty (2011) 6.5/10 It was interesting and i am glad i've seen it, but it's not a movie i will remember.
it has always baffled me how so many people can like a comedy that is totally devoid of any jokes
maybe it was because i watched with a friend and it was pretty late but i found it funny
It's certainly better than most newer comedies. Speaking of which, I haven't seen any good newer comedies in a long, long time. None that have made me laugh, anyway; unless you count "The Big Lebowski", but only because I saw it this year.
Harold & Kumar that's comedy, they're almost like a new Cheech & Chong.
Sleeping Beauty (2011) 6.5/10 It was interesting and i am glad i've seen it, but it's not a movie i will remember.
Was this live-action or animated?
maybe it was because i watched with a friend and it was pretty late but i found it funny
i watched it with friends and because i didn't laugh they said we could watch a movie i enjoyed so i put on eraserhead and they left my house ten minutes in and now they won't hang out with me because they call me a downer.

what is that player anyways, looks hideous
Try Media Player Classic.
The Ides of March - 8.5/10 DAMN YOU AUTOMERGE. Also: Abduction - 4/10
Exactly, which is why I mentioned getting lost in it. You seen dazed and confused?
I've heard about that. Must watch, but as you say, it's better seeing it shortly after American Graffiti. [editline]20th December 2011[/editline]
The Hangover is one of those movies that I hate to admit I enjoyed. The second one (even though it followed nearly the exact same plot) was better in my opinion. I just found that the environment had more opportunities for humor. I giggled a few times in the first one, but I actually laughed at the second one. It was a nice surprise. I can understand why a lot of people hate the movies, though. It gets a bit too obnoxious at times, but overall, I don't think they're that bad. They definitely don't deserve all the hate they get, but they don't deserve all the praise they get either. That and the fanbase is intolerable...
"we are the three best friends that anyone could have" is the best example of cringeworthy comedy I've seen.
Collateral by Micheal Mann 9/10 An epic movie with badass acting, great scenes. Good quality and an intense atmosphere combined with briliant dialogue. Although Vincent did some unlogical things during the movie.
what is that player anyways, looks hideous
GOM player, it was the only one that would run it correctly. Sadly, it stopped after an hour in the movie, so I couldn't watch the whole thing.
wow dude, wtf you on [sp]that movie is a 3/10, at max[/sp]
Maybe I'm using a different rating system idk Like 0 is downright horrible, 5 is "whatever" and 10 is THE BEST Had it's good and bad. Felt a lot like a drawn out short story actually. A TV movie. Yeah, TV movie works. Actually, in retrospect yes it's probably a 3. Thinking on it, it's pretty much fanfiction. The only new thing was one-legged people who hopped away. And a DARK ISLAND. And MAGIC SWORDS. Also during the movie someone walked in the room spouting all the things they know about Narnia and that it's meant to be heaven and Aslan is Jesus. And then it came to the end and they were like "Will we ever see you again Aslan" "Yes but in your world I am known by another name" And I kind of just wept inside ): So yeah definite 3.

You should probably watch "Memories of a murder" and "Into the wild".
The Human Centipede 2 Full Sequence what the fuck/10
I'm interested in watching the Ides of March but I'm afraid it has too much political talk that I could not comprehend.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1588398/
well shit, i thought it was a remake of the disney film or something. also, this http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2169355776/tt1588398
Serpico 1973 cop film starring Al Paccino as a cop who will not take payoffs or get involved with corruption. Its got that gritty edge similar to mean streets and suggests the NYPD is full of bad cops. Really good watch and a great performance as always from a young Al. Goodbye Lenin2003 Story of a son living with his mother who is a staunch supporter of the old Eastern block communism in Germany. German lang film which is really sweet. These films are awesome, you will like them and I am right.
The Island: 8/10 Pretty good, but the chase scenes were far too long.
