It's retarded because all he did was use his technical animation skills for that movie. It's not like he had creative control over the direction. He made Forrest Gump for christs sake.
It's sickening to know that Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump director) co-produced it.
And it's sad, Robert made 3 of my fav films from him, BTTF 1 and 2, and then Who Framed Roger Rabbit. How could he crash that badly?

And he also made Back to the Future. Which turned out great.

It wasn't his fault. It's the director's and the companies fault.

Company has nothing to do with it, they just supply a budget and release it. It was the Director and Crew.

and the company that commissioned it.
I got my mom the Wallace and Gromit complete collection for Christmas and so we sat down and watched them the other day.
A Grand day out isn't as crisp as I remember but it's still great. 9/10
A Close shave is really impressive. The animation got a lot better and was quite dark. Really great 9/10
The Wrong Trousers is by far my favorite, to me it's absolutely perfect. It's dark, it's funny and the animation is brilliant. 10/10 Also I say the train track finally is wild.
A Matter of Loaf and Death was really good. Was a lot darker than the others. 9/10
Man I love Wallace and Gromit.

There are a whole bunch of shorts online, I think the collected title is Cracking Contraptions, it's pretty funny. Also, why no love for the feature film? Curse of the Wererabbit was great IMO. Also, if you love W&G you've surely seen Chicken Run, right? If not, blasphemy upon you. Also, watch Creature Comforts, it's hilarious.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
8.9/10
A very entertaining movie, one of the best I've seen in a while.
If I have to nitpick though, the slow-motion started to get a little tiring in the forest scene.

You can never have enough slow-mo in an action movie, especially when it's done as well as it is in that one.

It was well done here, but the constant switching between fast, slow and normal speed started to get annoying after a while.
JPLegacy has said that from what we know there are two. I read the book, and there were 2. Remember, InGEN recently started, their supply of dinosaurs was short. They had a bunch of raptors but only around 4 T-Rexes for all the islands.
Well, JPLegacy, as a source, is just as credible as any other fanpage: not that much.
Also, book InGen =/= movie InGen. There's a buttload of differences between the books and the films, like Lex and Tim's age switched around, Ed Regis and Donald Genarro merged into one character, Hammond dying in the first book, etc. Needless to say, I wouldn't really use the book as a reference for anything not mentioned in the movies.

Going to see Mission Impossible 4 tonight with my family. Will I enjoy myself? :v:

Also the shorts were on the blue ray as well, all of they were funny as shit. For some reason Curse of the were rabbit wasn't on there, I guess it was just a collection of the shorts and not the feature length film. I own Chicken Run as well haven't watched it in a long ass time though. What is Creature Comforts?
[editline]28th December 2011[/editline]
Also what a great theme song. Catchy as shit.

Jackass 3
8/10 First two movies made me laugh, disgusted me. This one was also entertaining to watch, and very disgusting at times.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - 6.5/10
This would have been such a great movie if it wasn't so cheesy, and if they hadn't overused CGI in it. I'd love to see a remake.
in my opinion they mashed up too many super heroes and shit.
in my opinion they mashed up too many super heroes and shit.
it's cool seeing all those book characters together, though
Megamind - 7/10
It was fun to watch and I had some laughs during it but thats it nothing great about it, it was good.
also, [sp]MusicMan! :smug:[/sp]

What do you mean "dark"?
Wallace and Gromit movies are not dark at all. :v:
in my opinion they mashed up too many super heroes and shit.
That's what happens in the book
You can never have enough slow-mo in an action movie, especially when it's done as well as it is in that one.
The only time I like slow-mo is when there's a point to it, like in Inception.
Also, the slow-mos that appear in the Sherlock Holmes films aren't necessary and are just to make things look "cooler" which is just dumb.
Slow motion scenes are meant to be intense. If you feel nothing while they occur, they've failed.
I liked them in Sherlock Holmes 2, they just could've probably been a bit shorter
When slow motion scenes are overused or are too long, it just loses its effects of intensity for me.
What do you mean "dark"?

It's sort of dark, there are some under tones I guess that are less than cheery.
The penguin essentially takes away Wallace's free will and tries to kill them later on. The dog Preston frames Gromit and makes him take the blame for stealing sheep, and almost puts him away for life. In a matter of loaf and death 12 bakers get killed right off the bat.
It's kinda like Adventure Time almost, all this crazy wild stuff going on while taking place in a post apocalyptic world.

Second viewing, 8/10.
I got forced by my niece to watch a marathon of Alvin and the chipmunks
I fucking want to kill her now
I hate her family
goddammit
The verdict
0/10
all of them

I managed to skip that and see Puss in Boots with my nephew. Wanted to see Hugo, but it wasn't showing.
This was a good movie though, unlike last two Shreks.
Thinking of watching the LOTR trilogy because it's my last week of winter break. Should I try to watch all 12-13hrs of it at once or split it into three days?
Just saw The Lion King on Blu-Ray.
10/10
My childhood was reborn today, I liked the film more then I did as a kid. Everything was perfect, only problem was the Scar VS Simba scene, I hated the slow-motion. It removed the intensity and made it silly.
Other then that, it's still a great film. I loved everything about it.

I tried to do a marathon once, I fell asleep during the second movie. Split it into 3 days IMO.
