It had no character depth, it had really terrible action, equally bad cgi, a really boring and uninteresting story and was just thoroughly underwhelming. Tron Legacy was not very good, most of the internet agrees with me.
1 person so far is not most of the internet
1 person so far is not most of the internet
you are digging yourself a hole there, Rusty didn't just mean from his post, in general people thought Tron was an average movie
1 person so far is not most of the internet
when I say that most of the internet agrees with me, this is what i mean http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/10011582-TRON_legacy/ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104001/criticreviews it ain't a great movie
Tron: Legacy blew period
Pulp Fiction Hands down, 10/10.

'The King's Speech' - 10/10
Pulp Fiction Hands down, 10/10.
Totally agree, absolute genius!!
gran torino 8/10
X-Men First Class - 4/10 I really didn't like it. I guess it had to do with the ridiculous super-powers they had.
'Lebanon' - 6/10 Thought it was overrated actually. I didn't find myself as invested in caring about the men as I thought I would have, given the hype it got. 'Das Boot' it certainly is not!!
X-Men First Class - 4/10 I really didn't like it. I guess it had to do with the ridiculous super-powers they had.
a super-hero flick with super-powers!? this is an outrage
Paul 8/10 I really liked this reference in the movie
The Adjustment Bureau 8/10 Brand new reason to bonk every player in TF2 who's wearing a hat.
a super-hero flick with super-powers!? this is an outrage
Not the point, the acting wasn't great and one guys super powers was an extremely high pitched voice.
john carpenters the thing- 10,000/10,000 my favorite john carpenter movie (granted, its the only one i've seen) i liked the acting, the plot, the effects, the keith david, everything! at first i thought it'd be scary, then i watched and it turned badass!

I like The Thing better, but still a great Carpenter movie
Not the point, the acting wasn't great and one guys super powers was an extremely high pitched voice.
What's your super power? Extreme pedantry?
Only good thing in Tron was the soundtrack.
you would like the soundtrack (your avatar) lol. But yeah that was the only redeeming quality of it. The writing was awful from what i heard. There's a reason why im not in a rush to see that film. Might see it on tuesday.
a super-hero flick with super-powers!? this is an outrage
I can see where he's coming from I don't like superpower movies either. They almost always have the same plot and are just generally not fun to watch (for me anyway, this is an opinion).
Assault girls - 6.5 Too bad the actors were just models acting and the story didn't offer much new than Avalon (on which it is based) did. [editline]12th June 2011[/editline]
1 person so far is not most of the internet
Rusty doesn't know what opinions are. Just give up.
Watch Escape From New York. I like The Thing better, but still a great Carpenter movie
i'm probably never going to get around to watching that, i'm a HUGE procrastinator
i'm probably never going to get around to watching that, i'm a HUGE procrastinator
It's fairly short and an easy watch
plus it has kurt russel, and he's super sex in this movie :3:
The Adjustment Bureau 6/10 The idea is pretty awesome but it could have been done so much better.
American Psycho 9/10, flawless acting and i fucking died laughing [sp] during the axe killing and business cards [/sp]

The rock 10/10 My favorite movie quote.
Star Trek (2009) 9/10 Loved the reboot of the franchise, alternate universe and everything, loved the cameo of LENOARD FUCKIN' NIMOY as the original spock, loved the special effects, space battles, humor, and badassery of a 12 year old Kirk flying down a road in a Corvette Stingray. I like Star Trek but I only started watching it, mid last year maybe, watched a bunch of original series episodes now I'm watching TNG every thursday, so I don't know what all the trekkie nerds hated about it but I liked it a lot.

Very freshly produced.
That's exactly how I felt I loved how great the CGI and effects were in the ships, the space battles were a sight to behold and that was what I really wanted to see. I mean, movie starts Bam, space battle all up in your grills. I really liked that. Not to mention it stayed true, and it wasn't bastardized or anything. Just a great movie, anyone can pick it up and watch it and it will make sense, unlike the other star trek movies.
