Princess Mononoke
10/10
This director is flawless. And studio ghibli did an amazing work as usual.
Missed out on a damn fine movie hon'.
it's on my backlog of movies to rewatch/watch. but even then i was in rehab long enough at that point where i could enjoy even kinda dull things, like working on a farm. granted i was the farm's squirrel trapper and that involved me doing mostly everything involved with catching the fuzzy little bastards, setting up the trap, baiting the trap and killing the squirrels.
eden log 7 or so/10
im a sucker for the macabre and great visual tone and such, and while the story itself was somewhat bland it was still interesting enough. i also found the pacing to be just right. it's reminiscent of the old slavic movie stalker but stuff actually happens.
there were some glaring flaws in the movie but i was able to put them aside and enjoy this little hidden treasure. much better than pandorum though i must say.
The Infidel 8/10.
Weird as hell, but still funny.
A beautiful mind 9/10
It blew my mind, especially after reading that story here on facepunch about that schizophrenic guy.
Green Lantern -- 4 or 5/10
Basically, a superhero movie. Nothing more. Maybe something less.
Super 8.5/10
(Sigh) The "A Wrinkle In Time" film adaption on Netflix.
Out of 10: 2/10
Personal opinion: Kill...me...

i found momento to be quite boring. may have been because i was anhedonic from all the crazy pills they raped me with
it's INFINITELY BETTER than that piece of trash that is irreversible , no jerkbag rating required. it's legitimately a bad movie.

why do you need to keep repeating your opinion over and over and over and over again?
Because if you repeat something enough times someone is bound to believe it.
Enter the Void is much more interesting than Irreversible, the concept is way more original and awesome.
well yeah obviously. i still really like irreversible though.
Inception 8.5/10
also a recommendation, see Paprika since Inception takes a LOT of things from it.

some people seem to be saying that but i watched paprika. it doesn't really
at all

people are just using that as an excuse to introduce an anime to people who don't normally appreciate anime
The dreams in Paprika are much more colourful and weird. And it's not a heist film, so it's not really too similar.
Still a good anime though.
well, if people like the idea behind a dream device/dream within a dream thing then they will like Paprika (in an anime style of course)
watched They Live 7/10
it was okay, sometimes got a little ridiculous like when he first put on the glasses, why did he just start shooting people wouldn't you be a little low key about you new sight?
but had some good one-liners
Super 8 - 7/10.
lol paprika is about lucid dreaming and some other shit, inception is about using dreams to extract or implant things in one's mind
Hall Pass
9/10
Very funny must watch!
Jason Sudeikis = Awesome
Golf course madness = awesome
Hot Australian chick + tits = Awesome
Minor boring parts rest AWESOME! :buddy:
Despicable Me 7/10. cute, funny, good
Battle: LA
7/10 Action packed, Patriotic garbage. great popcorn and turn off brain movie
Super 8 - 7/10.
To go further, it was predictable and I had higher/much different expectations. I hadn't watched any trailers, read any summaries, nothing. All I knew was J.J Abrams and Kyle Chandler were involved. What could go wrong with that?
I get to the theater, and I see "Produced by Steven Spielberg" on one of the posters. Right away I knew it was going to have children protagonists, and [sp]nobody under the age of 18 was going to die.[/sp] I was greatly disappointed by such, especially the former. I've been watching the show "Friday Night Lights" and really grew fond of Chandler, and hoped to see him strut his stuff on the big screen as the main character. Holy fuck was I disappointed.
You were disappointed by a film with children protagonists which the whole point was to be an homage of films with children protagonists???
Hahahahahha
X-Men: First Class
9.2/10 -> Explained bits of the X-Men series I was too lazy to read up from the comic books (if said explanations even existed), good soundtrack too.
Rampage
3/5
Absolute masterpiece for a Uwe Boll film. A few major continuity errors, which were really distracting, but it wasn't too bad for just a netflix rental. Would not buy, would not pay for on redbox. Only streamed it via netflix.

Yep.

Casino - 9/10.
Magnum Force, 9/10 - Clint Eastwood is fucking amazing as usual, not as good as Dirty Harry, but still amazing.
Dirty Harry, 9.5/10 - Clint Eastwood is yet again fucking amazing, felt this one deserved the extra .5 because I felt the antagonist in this one was over all better than in Magnum Force.
Machete, 8/10 - Gory as fuck and a great film to watch without having to think about it too much, full of be-headings, boobies and brain splattering buckshots. Definitely worth watching if you're a fan of grindhouse action movies.
127 Hours 9/10
God that was a painful viewing...
Click! 8.5/10
