Sucker Punch 9/10
I thought it was very good. :p
Whenever I seen it, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by an A+ plot. Sure, the plot was wack, but the the action sure made up for it. I watched the extended cut after watching the normal version and I must say that they left out some crucial parts that add to the plot.
Feel free to rate me whatever because critics have influenced your opinion.
I'm thinking about seeing Blade Runner, as I have not seen it before, should I see the theatrical cut despite the bad things I have heard, or should I do straight to The Final Cut?

Straight to final cut

i don't remember what cut i saw first but i gotta say the first time i saw the final cut i was truly moved just as much as the first time i saw it... not that i remember if i was moved or not either... :drugnerd:
Midnight Meat Train
6.5/10
Over the top gore and the dude who played Juggernaut go hand in hand pretty well. Story was, "Eh," at best.
Bad Teacher
4/10
Writers need to learn that jokes like "hold my ballsack" when talking about a literal sack full of dodgeballs isn't fucking funny
What's worse is that this was one of the "funnier" moments in the film and thus why it was in the trailer.

Ok I know you aren't a professional film critic or whatever but 9/10 for suckerpunch?
How many good films have you seen. It can't have been many if sucker punch is competing that successfully
From Dusk Til Dawn
9/10
Vampires in a Strip Club. Fucking awesome.
Bad Teacher
8/10
I found it hilarious actually. It's probably because the theatre was full when I was in it.
I saw a clip of the Green Lantern on Conan and it looked like a ridiculously bad movie with good special effects and Ryan Reynolds. Was that pretty much how it went?
exactly. Ryan Reynolds was pretty awesome though.

True Grit 8.6/10
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
8.5/10
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 9/10
Incredible.
On a related note, watching films in class is a bad idea, some people just aren't meant to watch certain movies. A lot of people were laughing at the serious scenes, quite a few people were asking stupid questions. After it was finished and the teacher asked us what we thought, the only thing people could come up with was that
the nurse was bad because she made them think they were disabled
. No one understood the ending, some didn't even know who was [sp]being killed and why[/sp]
and before the film a couple of people said that they wouldn't watch it if it was in black and white.

Also, people making comments about everything that happens in a film pisses me off, it's like you're watching two films at once and one of them is rated R for Retarded.
Battle Royal - 9/10
those damn Japanese :P
could tell it was Asian, we would never have a ginger guy playing the main antagonist
Green Lantern
6/10
It was OK. Not that good but worth a watch I guess.
Super 8
9/10
Great. I would of given it a ten but there is a plothole in it
Hot Tub Time Machine
3/10
A prime example of how terrible comedy movies are these days.

same rating for me. i give it a 2 for the cgi, 2 for special effects and 2 for blake lively. the -4 is due to miscasting, length, predictability and meh dialogue.

Toy Story 3

This is one of the few movies that made me cry profusely near the ending. As a child I grew up with Toy Story, always loving every minute of the movies. When this movie came around I didn't what direction they would take it in. Andy has grown up and is going to college. He like us, the ones who grew up watching these movies. I really loved how pixar made this movie for old fans of the other movies and for a newer generation. I loved the same old animation style they used for the toys and it still remains as a great movie. 10/10[/release]
the proposition
10/10
best fucking soundtrack... ever.
Guy Pearce is really an awesome actor.

8.5/10
Absolutely hilarious. I really recommend it if you liked Evil Dead and there are tons of references to it
I see way to many 10/10s in this thread, Honestly 10/10 should be saved for great masterpieces like Sucker Punch or Bimbos in Time
Soul Surfer
-2/10
It's a stupid generic inspirational sports movie, I didn't even know about any of the shit the movie was based on and I predicted everything in the entire movie, it was also boring as fuck and the Shark scene was poorly done, they demonize some random girl just because she was a contender in a surfing contest. The movie has made me profoundly believe she had her arm bitten off intentionally to become famous.
This weekend was movie night for me. So I watched these films:
Con Air - 9/10
I don't know, I just have a thing for cheesy 80's movies.
The Final - 6/10
Didn't like it much, plot was kinda stupid and the torture scenes were narm.
1984 - 10/10
I loved it. They chose the right actor for Winston Smith.
Con Air is an amazing movie and anyone who says otherwise hates having fun
I was suprised to see Dave Chappelle in it. That man is truly funny.
