Sucker Punch 9/10
I thought it was very good. :p
Whenever I seen it, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by an A+ plot. Sure, the plot was wack, but the the action sure made up for it. I watched the extended cut after watching the normal version and I must say that they left out some crucial parts that add to the plot.
nope
I disliked Sucker Punch.
The plot was shit and it seemed like the director was making it up as he went on.
It's like the main selling point was the sex appeal of the actresses.

Feel free to rate me whatever because critics have influenced your opinion.
This is funny.
Super 8

Pet Sematary 9/10
It's great to see a horror movie with some substance. The acting was a bit over the top in a few places, and the kid wasn't very convincing at the end. Other than that, it was fantastic. I really like how vibrant the colors are at the beginning and how it gets darker as the movie progresses.
Got about a third of the way through Battle LA and stopped because it sucked so bad.
I watched battle la because it looked awesome
it was, it wasn't a good movie but it was awesome
drag me to hell
9/10

never really seen a movie like it, it caught me off guard in a couple of ways.
Drag Me To Hell was really over the top.
That gypsy bitch made me laugh at how ridiculous it was.
IMO 5/10.
transformer, the new one: 9/10 soo much "twist" and nice effect\action.
Cars 2
I found the japanese cars funny,but I didn't see a Nissan GTR...or a Lexus LFA...or a El Camino.
6/10
That was the point. Have you seen Sam Raimi's other movies? Evil Dead 2 ring any bells?
The Evil Dead series was over the top in a good way, it actually seemed like it was supposed to have those comedic elements to it.
Drag Me To Hell reminded me of a horror movie that was actually trying to be scary and failed, but maybe that was Raimi's point? A perfect mockery of typical horror cinema.
I finally got round to watching Inception. It was pretty good.
Ridiculous, but brilliant.
so if i liked drag me to hell i'd like evil dead 2?

the amount of people that don't appreciate this because they think it's a straight up horror is astounding
but i'm glad when i see somebody who does

Uh nope. It was still a comedy horror. Just one that had a few legitimately startling boo moments, that made you laugh about them afterward.
Green Lantern. Was... yeah.
Transformers: Dark of the moon
Great movie. Redeems the second movie (which wasn't as horrible as people were saying, but it still wasn't great)
9/10
Hotshots
9/10
Funny parody of topgun with charlie sheen...
buckets full of humor and laughter!
Saving Private Ryan
7.5/10
Before rating me dumb for only giving it three quarters, I have my reasoning.
See, the premise of the movie was to deliver something with heart and in the end tie up all the characters to give it some depth. What we have here... is I'm afraid to say "style over substance".
I could watch the action sequences over and over, but the dialogue in between was just not hitting points for me. Maybe the medic was the one character that I could see "presented in a moving way" on screen, but other than that.. Tom Hanks wasn't given that oppurtunity to make the viewer care about him. Neither did it do much for Ryan.
The line on the bridge that Hanks gave to Damon [sp]Earn this. Earn it[/sp] right before he [sp]died[/sp], I wasn't connecting to.
Other than that, we have two thirds of some pure inspired action photography and a third of pretty much okay-ish chemistry.
tucker and dale vs. evil
8/10
really great parody of the whole 'teens get murdered in the woods' movie while also being a unique spin on the whole genre, genuinely funny and i loved every minute of it.
I also watched Tucker & Dale Vs Evil.
Watched it with 5 friends.
It was fun.
Just watched Snatch for the first time.
how the fuck have i NOT seen this movie before..
9.5/10
Transformers 3
6/10
Generic Michael Bay. Don't actually remember what happened, it was pretty much just explosions, supermodels, supercars, and USA DOMINATE the whole movie. No sense of pacing or anything, it really is just over the top the whole movie, which makes the whole movie seem really flat. I would not have enjoyed it if I hadn't been with my friends.
However I cannot say I was disappointed, I didn't think it would be good anyways.
Boogie Nights
10/10
My favourite film from the 90s, along with Pulp Fiction.
I watched battle la because it looked awesome

Yeah, it was awesomely bad. If I had seen it in a theater I would've walked out.
I watched it on DVD in my living room and it was so bad I almost walked out of my own house.
The amount of 9/10's I'm seeing for the new Transformers says all there is to say about you guys's taste in movies. I'm sorry...
Still haven't seen Blade Runner - should I watch the theatrical cut first, or just go straight for the final cut? I would assume I could just watch the final cut, but the fact there are so many versions makes me wonder whether it could be worth watching the theatrical first.
The Killing 8/10
early Stanley Kubrick at its finest
but as far sucker punch gos, I liked it at first because I thougt "maybe if I like this movie I can stick my dick in it"
watched it for the third time yesterday (friend is in love with this movie) 5/10 generic at best
