Still haven't seen Blade Runner - should I watch the theatrical cut first, or just go straight for the final cut? I would assume I could just watch the final cut, but the fact there are so many versions makes me wonder whether it could be worth watching the theatrical first.
I don't know many here who have seen the theatrical cut first. You should do it for the shit of it. :smug:
Don't do it man it's not worth the suffering
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade Needless to say...10/10 :buddy: *insert Indy theme here*
The girl who leapt through time 9/10 I thought it'd be some kind of awkward anime movie. But god damn that was an amazing story.
Just rewatched Shaun of the Dead. Fucking astounding movie. 10/10
Paprika *** The story's muddy as hell, but damn it looks nice.
Don't do it man it's not worth the suffering
Just let him do it and see what the reaction is. Why spoil it. :mmmsmug:
Bad Teacher 3/10 not funny, no serious plot, Justin Timberlake was wack, and come on you really exspect me to believe Cameron Diaz is a bad bitch? Bad teacher Bad movie. Only funny part was watching my grandmas face when the started dry fucking.
Only funny part was watching my grandmas face when the started dry fucking.
You watched your grandmothers face? Thats not weird. At all.
Watched Scorsese's first movie "Who's That Knocking At My Door" 7/10 Few flaws but it's a nice watch. You get a lot of Scorsese's obvious camera work here with some nice angles and what have you. The plot is a bit empty but Kietel's debut here too is nice to see. The acting was natural and I enjoyed it.
The amount of 9/10's I'm seeing for the new Transformers says all there is to say about you guys's taste in movies. I'm sorry...
ive seen one - and he has a disagree obviously
Just rewatched Shaun of the Dead. Fucking astounding movie. 10/10
Really? Shaun of the Dead is a perfect movie? In all honesty I cannot tell whether or not you're being sarcastic.
I thought about watching Transformers 3, then I realized the chick that replaced Megan in the movie looks like a fucking troll. That and the whole movie sounds retarded.
Really? Shaun of the Dead is a perfect movie? In all honesty I cannot tell whether or not you're being sarcastic.
People review differently. 10/10 does not mean perfect. Whoever thinks 10 out of 10 means perfect, then they need to rethink it.
I'm really not to sure what to rate Sucker Punch, partly due to the fact I have no idea what the hell I saw.
People review differently. 10/10 does not mean perfect. Whoever thinks 10 out of 10 means perfect, then they need to rethink it.
That's exactly what 10/10 means. 9/10 is not perfect, 10/10 is 100%, which is perfect. Do you not know how fractions work or what.
Battle Royale 9/10 It seemed pretty original (or at least for its time), and I thoroughly enjoyed it
People review differently. 10/10 does not mean perfect. Whoever thinks 10 out of 10 means perfect, then they need to rethink it.
Well I see where hes coming from. If you present a scale of grading, there has to be the top point which signifies a reviewers full admiration. I guess that doesn't exactly merit perfection, but technically, perfection is how you personally perceive it. I have no idea what I'm talking about. Somebody take this beer away from me.
I just watched I Heart Huckabees. It was pretty good but they could have done better so I give it a billion out of ten.
so I give it a billion out of ten.
Hap, I like you. (I hope that doesn't sound like sarcasm, because it isn't.) BTW everyone needs to watch One Hour Photo. Billion out of ten rating, absolutely..
That's exactly what 10/10 means. 9/10 is not perfect, 10/10 is 100%, which is perfect. Do you not know how fractions work or what.
No it doesn't. Not in review terms. The whole world knows there is no such thing as perfect, therefore why even have the rating? You're taking logic too seriously. [editline]30th June 2011[/editline]
BTW everyone needs to watch One Hour Photo.
Love that movie. 9.99999999999999999999999999999 out of 10. Which technically means 10 out of 10 :smug:
9.99999999999999999999999999999 out of 10. Which technically means 10 out of 10 :smug:
Abso-fucking-lutely. And yet I bet most of the people in this thread haven't even heard of it..
I like Robin Williams the most when he's not being funny.
I like Robin Williams the most when he's not being funny.
Bryan Cranston wasn't all that funny in Malcolm In The Middle either, but he also ended up being a 4-star drama actor in Breaking Bad. Hollywood needs to stop sending drama actors into comedy..
or they need to start sending more comedic actors into drama.
Bryan Cranston wasn't all that funny in Malcolm In The Middle either,
hal was awesome what are you talking about
Bryan Cranston wasn't all that funny in Malcolm In The Middle either, but he also ended up being a 4-star drama actor in Breaking Bad. Hollywood needs to stop sending drama actors into comedy..
Oh my god, I honestly just realized that I will never look at Breaking Bad the same way again
hal was awesome what are you talking about
Hey, he was a great character and Cranston was ALWAYS a good actor, but lets face it, those writers underused him as a character all the time. Of the whole family, he was given the smallest amount of screen time and lines.
Oh my god, I honestly just realized that I will never look at Breaking Bad the same way again
Haha its a beautiful thing, isn't it?
The movie had a few flaws here and there, but they definitely were not big enough to merit a 9.
Cranston is just so good at being angry.
