Few flaws but it's a nice watch. You get a lot of Scorsese's obvious camera work here with some nice angles and what have you.
The plot is a bit empty but Kietel's debut here too is nice to see. The acting was natural and I enjoyed it.

Well I see where hes coming from. If you present a scale of grading, there has to be the top point which signifies a reviewers full admiration. I guess that doesn't exactly merit perfection, but technically, perfection is how you personally perceive it.

Hey, he was a great character and Cranston was ALWAYS a good actor, but lets face it, those writers underused him as a character all the time. Of the whole family, he was given the smallest amount of screen time and lines.
