are you trying to imitate rusty or something?
Paul 9/10 I really like Simon Pegg and Nick Frost then you put badass Jason Bateman plus Bill Hader and Seth Rogen you have a hell'uva cast there anyway i thought the movie was awesome! "You just gotta role the dice sometimes" heh :unsmith:
Jeremiah Johnson 7/10 also watched Shawshank Redemption before that, 10/10
Super 8 3/10 More like "Super Cheesy". Also a ripoff of District 9
You're an idiot for thinking that it ripped off District 9 out of any films.
The Number 23 HOLY FUCK [editline]1st July 2011[/editline] 7/10
Super 8 3/10 More like "Super Cheesy". Also a ripoff of District 9
Is it because they both have numbers in their name? Also Battle:LA 6/10 It is an okay movie. I feel like they were trying to pull too hard on the heartstrings and I felt like the ending needed to be darker. Still, it is a good, mindless fun movie.
Kubrick was a perfectionist. If he wanted realism, he fucking well got it. The Shining might be his most legendarily frustrating film.
it really does show in the movie, doesn't it.
True Grit (The Remake) and The Wicker Man (The Original) Both awesome movies, 10/10 each
Kubrick was a perfectionist. If he wanted realism, he fucking well got it. The Shining might be his most legendarily frustrating film.
i grew up on full metal jacket and kubrick. there's a (famous in my family) picture, of my dad, my like 6 year old brother then, and me maybe 10 months? sitting there on the couch watching full metal jacket. then, my mom's a stephen king obsessed reader, so of course ive seen the shining a billion times. and literally i love them both, they never get old to me ever, either of them
Futuresport - 11/10 Words need not to be said. Just a look at the trailer will tell you all you need to know.
American Beauty - 10 / 10
Phenomenal, love it.
The Maltese Falcon 8/10 My dad owns a prop from it! Cube 5/10 It could be remade.
10/10 everywhere!
Mean Streets 8.5/10 Lol, De Niro is hilarious. The King of Comedy 7.5/10 Lol, De Niro is even more hilarious. :3:
Funky Forest I have no idea what to think or feel anymore. I think i may need help
Kung Fu Panda 2. 7/10 It wasn't a great movie but it certainly wasn't a bad one either. My only real complaints were that a lot of the gags and jokes felt pretty crappy and it was like they just decided to do quantity over quality with them. Nonetheless it did have a somewhat moving story to it, so I'd recommend watching it.
First Blood 8/10 great movie, loved the action and situations. The Conversation 7.5/10 got a little boring but overall was good.
The Conversation 7.5/10 got a little boring but overall was good.
Bit tough to grasp on first viewing, but the concept kind of unfolds to you once you see it another time. The way it's filmed is one thing and also the reveal.

Recount 9/10
Spirited Away 7/10 on first viewing. I'd really like to see it again sometime, though. It seems like something that would get better each time you watch it.
You should watch "Howl's Moving Castle" while you're at it. Wonderful movie.
How does that affect the quality of the film? In a way it almost makes it better, as he reportedly went mad in the jungle trying to make the film, which makes the final product the more impressive.
In no way did Francis lower the over-all quality of the film. He made a great movie. I should've just phrased that better then I did.
You should watch "Howl's Moving Castle" while you're at it. Wonderful movie.
Ponyo is good to.
Bicentennial Man 8/10 It was so sad :saddowns:
Speaking of Miyazaki films: Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cagliostro 8/10 Never gets old watching it.
I'm a big fan of animated movies. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 7.5/10 Was really good, but there was nothing that really made chills run down my spine out of sheer excitement. Isn't even close to besting Up. Also, this doesn't really count as a movie, but the Sam & Max complete series on DVD, in one sitting. 10/10 would watch again. And I already have.
Lucky Number Slevin 9/10 Bruce Willis doesn't have to anything to look dangerous haha.
True Grit (2010) - 7 / 10
It was alright, not as good as it seemed to be hyped up to be. Definitely no Unforgiven. Jeff Bridges was wonderful as always, hated the kid as I do most child actors. I just felt at the end "that's it?" Not a must see by any means but still a decent watch.
Transformers 3 - 8/10 Hot chick, and fight scenes. Can't complain Hangover 2 - 8/10 Funny overall, plot was a carbon-copy of the first one.
Inception 9/10 Date Night 6.5/10 it was an alright comedy.
