Kevin Kostner's best film... The Untouchables. 9/10, Quality.
Jurassic Park 3
6.5/10
Not bad but lackluster.
X-Men: First Class
6.5/10
A lot better than the last two X-Men films, but there's always something lackluster about the X-Men films.
Also, a mutant with housefly wings and acidic saliva? Hahahahha, so silly.
Not really. I watched it for explosions, explosions is what I got. It was a relatively satisfying movie.
Only half of it was explosions, you should have given it 5/10.
American Psycho 9/10
Horrible Bosses - 7 / 10
It wasn't that funny to be honest, but it was amusing and I enjoyed it. Charlie Day is like a funny Michael Cera without the annoying awkwardness, I just say that 'cause I had no idea what he was like. Definitely the best character. This movie reminded me of The Hangover a lot for some reason, I guess 'cause it's three guys getting in over their head and into some crazy antics. If the same people had made this as a follow up instead of just redoing Hangover, that would have been a lot better but whatever. Definitely worth a watch but don't expect to bust your gut laughing.
Source Code 9/10
Sucker Punch -- 9/10 (just for the visuals and cool soundtracks)
Storywise, 6/10
Overall, 7.5/10
I know it's not a movie, and I couldn't find any other even loosely related thread to share this, despite my prejudices towards it, Family Guy is actually brilliant.. or hilarious, whichever!
Family Guy is brilliant... if you still laugh at terrible fart jokes.
No not them.. well them too to an extent I guess yeah.. but it's the randomness sometimes and the.. Well you couldn't know because you haven't watched it.
It's great! Actually better than The Simpsons now that I think of it. And believe me or not, I am an intellectual viewer!
I did watch a lot of Family Guy, it's not a brilliant show.
South Park is still funny though, but anything is funnier than the Simpsons right now.
Oh you are one of those people who watch everything.. South Park, Futurama, Family guy, Simpsons, Game of Throne, Doctor Who and...
Just eww.
Billy Madison
8/10

Watch It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, you will love Charlie Day.
Watch It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, you will love Charlie Day.
Charlie in It's Always Sunny has to be one of the funniest TV characters of all time.
Anyways, just watched Goodfellas: 9.5/10. It wasn't what I expected; it's a different kind of crime movie, and I respect it for that. It doesn't go around telling you these people are scumbags the whole way through. You're told to admire them for being go-getters and successful. Every main character is an antihero in their own way. As it progresses you could really start to feel everything fall apart and that's when the depravity of their lives comes front and center. Also, [sp]if you read the wiki on Henry Hill and what he's been up to since when the movie took place you'll hate him even more.[/sp]

I keep meaning to but I never get around to it.
Salt
8/10
Although I don't really like Angelina Jolie acting that much the movie was pretty good, twists and a great story...comrade
[sp]I was waiting for the black guy on the helicopter to speak russian too and call her a comrade, seriously[/sp]
Watch Changeling.
True Grit (remake)
7/10
While I thought it was a good western, I thought to myself what effect this had on me. And to be honest, the entire message of the concept didn't hit home like I expected. Mostly due to the ending that gave me "some symbolisations", I didn't feel it coming together meaningfully.
Albeit, I enjoyed it thoroughly, and some may not like the girl but she did great for a 14 year old.
Really charismatic I thought.
Bridges is always good, Damon was okay, Brolin was okay.
Recommended.
Pulp Fiction
8/10
Classic Tarentino film. One of his best.

I felt Damon did a good enough job, but Brolin was underused and almost felt like he was throw in there to be in another Coen bros. movie.
Super 8, 7/10 I'd say. The ending felt rushed though.
I watched Evil Dead last night. 8/10.
The Aviator - 9/10. Much better than I thought it would be.

While lacking depth, it's a decent time-waster. Don't expect to find an unique experience that'll get you thinking for a few days, nor the ultimate action movie. It's just a no-brainer, seminude chick-filled movie.
What made me not hate it:

Björk

P. cool visuals

Idiotic WWI mech dogfights while killing zombie evil germans with katanas

My classes are over so I can waste my time with a stupid movie without feeling like I could be doing something else
I recommend it if you have too much free time, otherwise go watch something else
jesus christ, you use your own avatar as a scoring mechanism?
The Aviator - 9/10. Much better than I thought it would be.

I was surprised by how watchable it was. For a 2 and a half hour movie, Scorsese did good.
Well, considering that Goodfellas is one of the ten best movies ever made...
What's Goodfellas got to do with 2 and a half hour movies?
Heat (1995)
10/10.

Also from Scorsese, I guess.
Yeah well, I doubt many have gone beyond Taxi Raging Fellas Departed when it comes to Marty. He's an artful guy, that's why stuff like Aviator and Shutter need to be realised more. Also his obscure stuff.
