Watched Fellowship of the Ring (first LOTR) again. Great job on everything but I always think my mind over exaggerated how long it was the last time I see it, but it always turns out to be way, too, fucking long. 9/10
Yeah well, I doubt many have gone beyond Taxi Raging Fellas Departed when it comes to Marty. He's an artful guy, that's why stuff like Aviator and Shutter need to be realised more. Also his obscure stuff.
Yeah it's a shame we rarely hear people talk about Mean Streets, which is one of his greats I think.
Watched Shaun of the Dead. 9.5/10.
Gangs of New York: 9/10 Really wasn't expecting that. Nice change from the standard gangster movie, loved the setting and characters, only not perfect because they killed off Liam Neeson in the first 15 minutes.

The Number 23 - 7/10 Didn't care much for the "oh my god 23 is everything" conspiracy shit that was going on, but I expected not to before watching it. It was a decent film though which kept me interested the whole way through. Jim Carrey acted fairly good considering it wasn't a film much for comedy. Definitely worth a watch.
Talk Radio - 10/10.
Children of Men 10/10 Beautiful Film
Sucker Punch WTF/10 Really (7.5/10)
Frozen - 6.5/10 Pretty good movie. Some parts were really stupid though.
I keep meaning to but I never get around to it.
Heh, so I finally watched the first episode of It's Always Sunny. Hilarious. Got a new show to watch with Breaking Bad. Know this isn't movie related but whatever. Oh
No Country For Old Men - 9.5 / 10
Amazing film which quite a bit of was lost on me the first time just because I had no idea what I was walking into, but everything about this movie is phenomenal. The only thing I didn't really like was the casting of Steven Root, who I felt was out of place.
well maybe u should listen to me more often and that show only gets better
Got bored, watched random movie. Win Win 5/10 It was so boring...
well maybe u should listen to me more often and that show only gets better
Six seasons of it, awesome.
Charlie Wilson's War. Second time viewing it, first time I saw it on a plane... noise didn't help but still enjoyed it then. Enjoyed it a lot more now. 8/10 Plus Phil Hoffman is pretty much the man.
Ken Park 8/10 Larry Clark loves making softcore child porn.
Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban 8 / 10 Really good, although this member of the series does seem to open up a few plot holes.
Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban 8 / 10 Really good, although this member of the series does seem to open up a few plot holes.
That's the only worthy interpretation of the book imo.
That's the only worthy interpretation of the book imo.
Seeing them all this week, I've been to 1,2 and 3 so far. Off to see the fourth tonight :v: Not sure why, but possibly because it was a big part of my childhood, didn't even like the films that much to be honest.

I guess I'm losing interest. However 3, 4 and 6 are rather enjoyable. The others are missed oppurtunities and simply a dim view of what could've been artful experiences.
Half Blood Prince turned a lot of people off of the series, sadly.
I liked it a lot. Better than the piece of garbage that was 5. (it's not that bad.. but I think it's the worst) [editline]11th July 2011[/editline]
6 was awful I found...
It was lackluster, but there was a lot more darkness and depth surrounding the characters. It wasn't really meant to be a "good old fun movie" in any way. Weird.
RocknRolla 8/10 Good guy ritchie movie, but not as good as Snatch and Lock Stock.
Just watched the extended edition of The Fellowship of the Ring - 9.3/10 The extra scenes add quite a bit to the movie, two more movies to go.
Just watched the extended edition of The Fellowship of the Ring - 9.3/10 The extra scenes add quite a bit to the movie, two more movies to go.
Extended? Gross.
The Room - 1000/10 (Best movie ever made) Starship Troopers - 7/10 (Really great campy science fiction satire movie, visual effects held up well or being 14 years old, good going Tippett Studio) Evolution - 8/10 (Underrated as fuck, has some great visuals for being from 2001, another Tippett Studio movie) Wanted - 3/10 (total piece of shit, only reason I gave it a 3 is because it had some good visual effects sometimes, but other then that its fucking awful and not even related anyway to the source material.)
Extended? Gross.
what
Unknown - 6 / 10
Decent action flick, but a contrived and predictable plot with a neatly wrapped and convenient ending. It was alright, wouldn't watch it again.
K-PAX - 9/10.
Batman- 10/10, to quote Chester A. Bum, "OOOH MY GOD THIS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!"
