7/10, want to give it six but I can't
The 'worst' star trek movie I've seen, but that's because the others are really good and this one just falls short a bit. Hopefully the next one is better.
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 2
looking at the tv screen
Visuals were great, especially for a 70's movie hot damn, but I usually watch movies for the story, if not then for the gratuitous amounts of action, not the visuals, it didn't have a lot of action or story, and I just couldn't really get into it, so it was hard to say HOLY SHIT THIS IS INTENSE when I couldn't get into it at all. It was still pretty entertaining regardless, just not something I'd watch again.
Fair enough. I rather watch things for the experience. Imagining their situations and things, it's pretty intense.
Except that it was such a horrible film that hid it's lack of anything interesting or special to say behind it's arthouse vaneer. Basically it's a film that tricks people into going 'Well I didn't understand that one bit... so it must be amazing (or I must SAY it's amazing so that people don't think I'm stupid and uncultured).
It's kind of like a poor man's 2001. Except a lot stupider and a lot more pointless and unfulfilling.
[editline]14th July 2011[/editline]
It's akin to watching the trailer 20 times on repeat. Except the trailer is better than the film, so I would say watch the trailer 20 times instead of actually watching the film.
The main difference is the trailer leaves you wanting excited for more. The film just leaves you disappointed and without any of the answers the trailer posed.
I didn't think the movie was confusing one bit, save for the beginning but that's like 80% of the movies out there. Honestly it was really simple, it was just played out in a different way, which makes the film unique. Without spoiling anything I can say that if you are just watching the movie it's easy enough to understand what is going on. I think you're just having trouble expressing that you can't watch a movie that strays from an hour and a half of hacking and slashing with no plot whatsoever.
How could the film leave you in disappointment unless you had trouble understanding the simple storyline? There's about 20 minutes of closure at the end of the movie. If that doesn't answer your questions it's honestly not worth watching a movie in my opinion, because you would have to spend to much time getting babied and having hundreds of questions answered for you.

I will see Magnolia. I'm not sure how I'll predict because something tells me it isn't easy.
We'll see.

Wow, a thriller that's actually a legitimately thrilling experience! Nice one, Germany! Any way, this is a three and a half hour movie that gets better and better all the time, perfect film

Ip Man

This must definitely be one of the best movies I've seen in my life. Amazing story, unbelivably well done fighting. If you haven't seen this movie. Watch it now.
Das Experiment - 9/10 - Movie was fucking nuts, geil.
Futurama: Bender's Game
9/10
One of the better Futurama movies IMO.
Charlie St. Cloud

I was abrasive to watch it at first, but I am actually glad I was talked into seeing it. It was a decent movie.
Well this just confirms that most of Rusty's post are shit. He doesn't know what he's talking about. He just talks.
I just watched Inception finally (I had originally watched it, but only 1/4ths because my dad was too derp to understand it)
And

Harry Potter Part 2 7/10
the ending killed it for me, the inaccuracies from the book when it came to the ending messed it up big time. Now i know it cant be exactly like the book, but there were some key parts about the ending that they totally changed and or completely left out. It left me feeling like it was a hallow ending to an epic battle and build up.
'the hug' 10/10 funny
