Fast Five 8/10
Damn I now feel like I underrated it... I'll raise my rate to 7.5/10, on second thought!

For the second time
9.8/10
Very funny and true and also very heartwarming at the end. Almost made me cry.
I just finished Memento, I had been spoiled of the movie so I didn't think It was going to be very interesting but it still kept me entertained very well. Although I think I would've liked it more if I hadn't been spoiled.
8/10
Also watched Gulliver's Travels yesterday, probably a 6.5/10
going to watch Black Swan, I'm assuming it'll be an 8 to me.
Toy Story 3.
I cried all over the damn place. Watching that just brings my whole Childhood to mind.... shit can I be a kid again? Please?
pirates of the Caribbean: stranger tides
I'd give it 6/10

The story was good, but the plot was complete shit? Can't argue with that..
The A-Team (2010)

Being a fan of the original TV series (repeats used to play on UK Gold all the time when I was younger), I held off watching this even though I'd been waiting years for it to finally get made. The trailer made it look far from the style and tone of the series, even if the hardest thing to get right -the casting- seemed to have been handled well.
Finally watched it last night, and I wish I'd gone to see it in the cinema. It didn't dwell on the violence, had little swearing and had a few funny moments. I think it captured the feeling of the TV series very well, considering how often Hollywood fucks things like this up (The Dukes of Hazzard remake was a fucking abomination). Shifting it to the present day was done well, too. The casting of the team was perfect.
If you judge it for what it is, a fun over-the-top, clean action film, I think it's awesome. My only real complaint is that Lynch wasn't anything like he was in the series, but that can be forgiven.
I'd give it a solid 7/10, but that might be due to me liking the series and having such low expectations.
Taken
10/10
Second favorite movie now.

GOD taken was sooo nothing i still cannot fathom how people liked it so much
oh thats right liam neeson kills people. and that nullifies every other aspect of the film for some reason.
great job, general public.

What else do you want? LIAM NEESON is a badass.
And it's finally time he can beat the shit out of people without having to pull off an oscar winning performance :smug:

yeah gosh, god forbid he acts well
Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides
7/10
Not a bad film. Not great. Maybe it's because the previous movie I had seen was Priest, but the action seemed satisfying. At least compared to that post-matrix slowmo boring bullshit. (as a side note I can already tell that Three Musketeers is going to be a shit film because of all the slow-mo powersliding and superhuman acrobatics in the trailer alone)
But anyway Pirates 4 is a fun couple of hours, see if it you're bored.

Taken was a fun watch and little else. It was no Die Hard by any means.

We're just saying it was a fun film.
We all know it's not really a "cinema masterpiece".

8/10
-1 for incredibly cheesy cqc scene
-1 for ketchup blood
What a down right shitty movie
A 9.8 rating suggests he was dropped on his head when he was a little man.
Slumdog Millionare. 9.7/10
Realistic, great soundtrack, and a real attachment to the characters.
Hey Taken was like a movie version of Splinter Cell it was awesome.
what
maybe conviction but definitely not the good splinter cell games. I'd get kill for a legitimately good movie based on the Chaos Theory days.
Buried
3/10 - I spent most of my time not looking at the film because hardly anything was going on, must have been a very low budget film as it was shot in a coffin, the ending was a bit of twist. Wouldn't recommend it.
Howl's Moving Castle
9/10 - It was simply a wonderful movie. Loved every minute of it.
as a side note I can already tell that Three Musketeers is going to be a shit film because of all the slow-mo powersliding and superhuman acrobatics in the trailer alone.
really? that's how you can tell?
Oliver and Company
10/10 because it's fucking Oliver and Company that's why (singing by Billy Joel, being one of the good disney films, what's not to love?)
I watched Inception again in 4 months.
It's like a :psyduck: in a :psyduck:
9/10
-1 for confusing me
It's not really super confusing, dreams in dreams
it's a mindfuck the first time but you get it eventually.
I was high the first time I decided to watch it, watched the first 10 minutes and was like "Nope, won't understand any of this, better not."
I don't see how people found Inception confusing, but then again I never found Primer that confusing either.
forgetting sarah marshall
probably 6.8/10
I like Jason Segal in most things and Mila Kunas is pretty good in it too.
There are some actors that I like that appear in small roles too, Paul Rudd can be funny and Jason Bateman is great, to bad he wasn't in it more.
Kristen Bell is meh, Russell Brand is Russel Brand, and Jonah Hill plays the same type of character he always does.
Nothing really special about it, it's your run of the mill rom-com.
