It's brilliant, but a bit dramatized. That German dude that helped him was actually alive for 5 years after the end of the war, and petitions were sent to keep him alive.
It didn't really explain what happened to him anyway, apart from the 5 or so words about him dying in the prisoner camp. The first hour of the film though is amazing simply because of how it portrays some events, such as [sp]the disabled guy being threw off the balcony simply because he couldn't stand up when he was told[/sp].

Definitely a masterpiece.
Then why did you go on and bash it? I don't understand.
for the lulz [editline]22nd July 2011[/editline] Star Trek: The Final Frontier 6.5/10 Was more like a longer version of a regular episode, had some funny moments, Kirk and Bones camping with Spock made me crack up more than once Was okay, not really gripping but a good watch
Good Will Hunting 8/10 I know it's set in Boston and all, but all the cursing could have been cut down a bit.
Six and a half weeks off from sixth form now. I'm going to try and make a dent in my watchlist. By the way, I've been watching the Evil Dead series, and I'm about to watch Army of Darkness - can anybody tell me which version I should watch? There seems to be some debate over whether the theatrical or director's cut is better.
Dylan Dog: Dead of Night 8/10
So.....your step-mother is the female equivalent of Christopher Walken?
Well Walken is a fun lovable wacky guy while my step-mother scared me.
Watching Limitless right now, i'll add a review in ~here~ when i've finished it.
Source Code - 9 / 10
Could be a 10 but I don't think it's one of those films I can watch over and over, but it was still spectacular. What a surprise, not what I expected at all. Duncan Jones is a great director and I can't wait for his next project.
Just rewatched the first Alien. God what a shitty movie, even for something from the 70's, it was shitty. I remember sort of liking it when I saw it as a child, but it's totally one of those things that you can only enjoy when you're a kid, and when you're an adult you're like, "Oh right, this is fucking garbage." Not scary, entertaining or interesting in the least.
Get. Out.
The Bucket List - 8 two of my favorite actors in a movie together woah
Jurassic Park 1 10/10 I swear, I can watch that fucking movie over and over again, I never grow tired of it.
The Dark Knight 10/10
Limitless 8/10 would have been 9 if there hadn't been some annoying plot points but apart from that really good movie with an interesting plot
Transformers 3 - Dark of the Moon 7/10 Havent seen the first two, But Hey. Giant Robots blowing the shit out of each other, whats not to love?
Harry Potter and the BlahBlee Blah Blah: Part Blah. 8/10 It was good, the bit right at the end kind of ruined it although I'm glad it stayed true to the book.
Captain America 8.5/10 turned out to be a lot better than what i expected which is good. Got me excited for The Avengers
Captain 'Murrica - 7.5/10 Some parts were a little cheesy, but still a good movie. Stayed after the credits to see The Avengers trailer. Can't wait.
Red Riding Hood - 2/10 Why Gary Oldman? Why would you star in such a shitty movie?
Cube 2 - Hypercube - 3/10 Was shit, made absolutely no sense, contradicted itself Cube Zero - 4/10 Also shit, boring to watch, shoddy storyline, didn't make sense [editline]23rd July 2011[/editline] watched them with a friend to laugh at how bad they were, we were right
Paul - 7/10 Not mindblowing, but still pretty damn funny.
Reservoir Dogs - 9 / 10 Mr Blonde is so fucking hilarious... in a mad sort of psychotic way.
Is "Man on the moon" any good?
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 9/10 I forgot how much I love that movie. The Terminator 8/10 Solid 80s action movie that holds up pretty well even by today's standards.
You confused the word 'solid' with 'classic' there my friend
Watched Aliens and Evil Dead 2 last night, both are awesome. I was surprised at how good of a sequel Aliens was, and Evil Dead 2 was brilliant, I'd say better than the first. Watching Army of Darkness and Good Will Hunting tonight. Might watch Alien 3 - from what's been said, it seems like I should just watch the Assembly cut rather than watch the theatrical one first, right?
500 Days of Summer 10/10
