Pulp Fiction 7/10 Incoming disagrees.
Pulp Fiction 7/10 Incoming disagrees.
not good enough for you eh? Fair enough.
I don't know why but I really hate Tarentino's style.
I don't know why but I really hate Tarentino's style.
It's brash and bold but that's his idea of fun I guess.
Limitless 8/10 - Pretty much what I was expecting. Entertaining and fun as hell to watch. Some parts of the film were pretty pointless because in the end they were shrugged off. Worth a watch nonetheless.
I don't know why but I really hate Tarentino's style.
well if you don't like cool then you can go to hell because there ain't any cool there because it's hot.
The Fly (1958) I'm not even entirely sure if I can give an unbiased review of this. Everything that was new in film when this was made has now been thoroughly explored, and I'm sure Andre's fly face is nowhere near as shocking now as it was 50 years ago. The whole thing did seem kind of boring, but I think it would have been a lot more suspenseful if I didn't already know the story. I must admit the fly at the end was damn creepy though. I did like the part where his wife was trying to catch the fly. The scene managed to be suspenseful even though you already know the outcome. It was just good at making you empathize with his wife I guess. I mean, I would be freaking the hell out if I was in a situation like that.
I just finished watching The Collector, and I rate it "Mind fuck"
Below. I give it a 8/10 I'm a sucker for psychological thrillers though. The scary bits were a bit low and meant to just make you jump. But I can honestly say that it was fun to watch and had a good story for it, I can't think of anything similar off the top of my head. Hell, I haven't seen a good submarine movie in a long while.
SLC Punk I always have enjoyed this movie 9/10
almost famous is brilliant just watched transformers 2 horrible/10
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 9/10, I can't think of a better way to wrap up the series I'm glad they split the last one into two parts Strangely enough, my generation can say that the Harry Potter book/movie/video game series were a part of both our childhood and our teenage years
A history of violence 8/10 Viggo goes fucking berserk. And yet acts really kind and calm. Gives the movie a really freaky vibe, watch it if you haven't.
The Da Vinci Code 1/10 Pure rubbish and if its anything to go by I'll skip the other one too! +1 For Almost Famous though 10/10
The Da Vinci Code 1/10 Pure rubbish and if its anything to go by I'll skip the other one too!
Although the plotline is bollox, it was an intriguing watch. Plus the score is damn good.

Just watched The DaVinci Code myself. After seeing the www.icheckmovies.com ratio of 688 dislikes against only 282 favourites, I was expecting it to be a bit shit. To be honest, I didn't think it was bad. It was alright, reminded me a bit of Indiana Jones with the different locales and biblical themes. A bit predictable in places [sp]called that Ian McKellen was going to turn on them[/sp]. I wouldn't say there were any glaring flaws that make it 'bad', though I thought the characters were kind of boring, there wasn't much to them. Probably around 6/10. Next film I plan on watching is 2001, for the first time.
Blitz - 6/10 Basic Jason Statham pure non sensless action. Scenario is bad, but gay officers and maniac killers were good. Yes Man - 7/10 I think i'm gonna try to say yes to everything.
Just watched a movie called Clue, which amazingly is based on a board game. Somehow they managed to make a great and funny movie. Perhaps the script wasn't the best, but it sure was entertaining. 8/10 [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Also the French maid in the movie is hot.

I still have it in my room.
So I just watched 2001: A Space Odyssey. Wat.
So I just watched 2001: A Space Odyssey. Wat.
Its really awesome, especially when you finally figure it out.
So I just watched 2001: A Space Odyssey. Wat.
It's better if you've read the book. I mean then you'll actually understand it.
In all seriousness, I did find it very interesting. There were maybe some slight pacing issues, but the entire HAL section is brilliant. The monolith lightshow/colour-filtered landscape part went on for too long, really, but the ending that followed made up for that.

Star Trek (2009) 9/10 Great film. One of the best reboots ever.
Greetings from the Shore - 7/10.
Captain America - 8/10

I found some horrible scene where the 'fly' is [sp]stuck in a web, screaming 'Help me!', while a spider eats him, as two bystanders watch.[/sp] Harrowing.
Pulp Fiction 7/10 Incoming disagrees.
Man, watch it again.
