artsy
Yeah it's pretty psychedelic.
Source Code 8.5/10 Damn good. More people need to see this.
Unforgiven 10/10 No need to say anything else.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 9/10, I can't think of a better way to wrap up the series I'm glad they split the last one into two parts Strangely enough, my generation can say that the Harry Potter book/movie/video game series were a part of both our childhood and our teenage years
Strangely enough, I can say that Harry Potter is overrated. Nah, but it is very overrated and over-hyped. Best part about it was John Williams' scores.
All to his own.
Life of Brian 10/10
Pulp Fiction 9.5/10
Red Riding Hood 7.8/10

Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War - 10/10 Holy fuck, I never vote movies 10/10's but this is just... Perfect example of a good war movie... I almost cried at the end, I felt my throat get all sore. I recommend this movie :(
The Mist: 8/10 Cannot contain my rage over the religious woman. An odd movie though, as good as it was it's hard to enjoy.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly 9.5/10 holy shit, for my first old western this is fucking amazing, ive never seen a more badass movie ever. That music is just perfect.

The movies weren't as consistent in quality though. the second is very similar to the first, the fourth and fifth barely exist (I can barely remember them), the third is fantastic but only if you've read the book which is silly. Yet regardless of all of that, I really enjoyed it, probably because I grew up with it.

They'll go down in history as having consistency unlike some which have had complete crap ruining a perfectly good concept. Potter has been okay. [editline]5th August 2011[/editline] watched Jim Carrey in The Majestic. He's not trying to be funny here and actually pulls off something of a nice character. The movie on the other hand was kind of inconsistent with what the fuck it was trying to do. 7.5/10 Enjoyed, and worth watching but don't expect better than the director's previous work. [editline]5th August 2011[/editline]
it's hard to enjoy.
if you were intrigued, then you enjoyed it.
The United States of Leland - 8/10 Goddamn, Ryan Gosling is a great actor. This movie is very, very depressing though. I made the mistake of watching it today, which happens to be 3 days after I started taking anti-depressants. Not a good move. The film certainly makes you think about life as you see it.
Super 8 9/10 Knocked off a point for the cheesy ending.

I think the films and books are good, they're just not the greatest fantasy books/films I've seen/read is all. Fuck, I grew up with them as well, but didn't dive into them like other folks did. I guess it just wasn't entirely my thing. Then again, I did prefer reading Captain Underpants, Star Wars and Goosebumps as a kid, so w/e.
Super 8 9/10 Knocked off a point for the cheesy ending.
The ending was beautiful man, how could you say that :( Anyway Breakfast Club, 9.5/10. Great film.
Saving Private Ryan 9/10 First time I've actually seen the whole movie, and I must say. This is the most sad, suspenseful and amazing war related thing since Band of Brothers. Definitely a movie I'll show my kids when they grow up.
The Shawshank Redemption 9.5/10 Knocked off half a point because I felt that some of the scenes that I assume were meant to be shocking or surprising were very predictable. Brilliant film though.

Battle: Los Angeles 9/10 I actually really liked this movie, there was a bunch of cliches, but it was great. One thing that really pissed me off was Michelle Rodriguez character, she has the same fucking character in every movie.
The Trip was really good. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes movies that are good.
The Deer Hunter 10/10 Such a great film, just watched it in a friends place. The first and second halves of the movie are so different. A very different take on a Vietnam movie.
Seven Samurai 10/10 Yep... at 3 and a half hours long I was scepticle that it could hold its weight. But damn, this is something inspired. True classic. [editline]6th August 2011[/editline]
Nah, I've learned not to listen to fan or critic reviews anymore (even though I still like to see what RT and Roger Ebert have to say), but rather listen to my own self-conscious. Obviously we make our own opinion in the end, but there wouldn't be if noone saw the movie and said it was worth watching.
Captain America - 7.5/10
Planet of the apes: Rise of the apes: 8.5/10 Was a awesome movie just i felt like it needed to be longer and show us what eventually happens.
Planet of the apes: Rise of the apes: 8.5/10 Was a awesome movie just i felt like it needed to be longer and show us what eventually happens.
We know what eventually happens + there are sequels planned.
Bruno 1/10 what the shit.
