Whaaat? Hitch a 10? I don't agree with V either but it makes more sense than Hitch.
Surprised you went for Hitch first instead of Saw. Saw was awful after one and Hitch is probably the better movie. All in all, I couldn't care less about either :3:
Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 5/10 It was entertaining, but massively predictable and just nowhere near as good as the others. Jack Sparrow isn't as good in this one either.

Watched Hot Fuzz for the first time, 8/10 It was pretty good but I liked Shaun of the Dead a lot more. Hot Fuzz felt like it was lacking a bit in humor at some parts, still a great film though.

My only real criticism of Hot Fuzz is that it was marketed as a spoof of police action films, when in actuality it was more a spoof of slasher films until the last half an hour. The film itself is fantastic, though.
Youth in Revolt 7/10 I thought it was pretty good. I know some people don't like Micheal Cera movies but I enjoy them.
Just watched Vertigo, 9.5/10. It's great, and James Stewart is awesome - he's becoming one of my favourite actors as I'm working my way through this Hitchcock boxset (I've had it nearly a year and only watched about five of the 16 films so far). Can't decide whether I like it more than Rear Window or not, though.
The Other's 7/10 It's okay, [sp]big twist around the end.[/sp]

Thor 7/10 The romantic sub-plot was unnecessary, and the Darcy character is useless and annoying. Otherwise it surprised me with its quality, I was expecting it to be pretty bad.
Hangover Part 2 = 9 lady boys/10
As many others, The Hangover Part II 9/10 It really managed to pull it off, I laughed more this time around than the first.
LotR Series again. 9/10 Only thing that really annoys me, there are a few areas where they are in plain fucking sight and apparently no one can see them. Other than that I forgot how much I loved these movies since I last watched them.
Get Carter the 1971 film, not the shitty modern remake. 10/10 Classic British crime, it starts slow and gets fucking serious.
I Am Number Four expected clichéd teenage romance action superhero shit, got the worst movie I have ever seen 0/10
Get Carter the 1971 film, not the shitty modern remake. 10/10 Classic British crime, it starts slow and gets fucking serious.
Great film.
Dead Alive (Braindead) 9/10 Incredibly funny and gory, would give it ten if not for the slow start.
Monsters 8/10 I really, really enjoyed this movie. The characters were really well played, and their performance was nothing short of perfect. I really felt for the 'things' in this movie, they were quite beautiful. What I absolutely hated with this movie was that the story was cut short at the very ending, after a very moving encounter with the species, and it just ended and the two characters were dragged away from each other. I asked myself "are you fucking kidding" because if this movie had an extra hour in it, I think it may have made it into my top ten. So, very, very disappointed [editline]28th May 2011[/editline] I can even describe how sad I am at that, really I'm gutted This had so much potential, that hour and a half absolutely flew past.
Back to the Future trilogy, 1.21/1 no explanation needed
There are little things more awesome than Michael J. Fox rockin' out to Johnny B. Goode Fuck that was so awesome, hell nigga I'm going to watch all three of those movies this weekend. also, does anyone but me LOVE how the future was portrayed in the 80s in that movie? the nikes that automatically lace up, and the clothing just screamed eighties. Love it AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH
Drive angry. 8/10.
Drive Angry was probably the best Nicolas Cage film in a while, it's some great over the top action. Also, finally got around seeing True Grit: 8/10. Awesome film, loved the characters and the acting.
Hangover 2 8/10. I was hoping for a little more than a near perfect Hangover 1 clone, but honestly, I expected it. I loved it, but I don't think I'll be re-watching it as much as I did the first movie.
I personally thought Hangover was truly awful. I did enjoy it, but I can't say it's any good. It's far too "obvious" in it's humour and I hate that. It's not only cringeworthy, it's depressing. Outlandishness is what makes this type of comedy funny, and it just isn't here. :unsmith:
