Watching "Rear Window" at the moment. About halfway through. Man, this film is going nowhere. It's about an hour in and all it's done is show us the characters and express that Jimmy Stewart's girlfriend is upper class while he is the everyday man. Does it pick up from here?
That film is brilliant.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes. 4/10 Captain America. 8/10
anyone seen Conan yet?
Which one
I will be basing all films on my LoveFilm subscription on this threads reviews, keep them coming. Law Abiding Citizen; 8/10 Great film, interesting characters, ending could've been better but was still good. Shame the trailer spoiled a lot of it.

Her Alibi 8/10 I liked it, was a nice comedy film that didn't need to be too wrapped up in a serious plot, and even the plot was funny, the jokes are a tad cheesy but het it made me laugh.
Kelly's Heroes 8/10 I give it good props since it was filmed 40 years ago. Not to mention how the plot reminds me so much of Bad Company.
I am so keen to watch that now, thanks
I'm 12 years late but, Fight Club Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time 10/10
Rise of the Planet of the Apes, I liked it. Ironically, reminded me of 12 Monkeys.
I watched it thinking it would be an overrated movie it wasn't I still wouldn't give it a ten though and I don't think it belongs at the very top of the list [editline]20th August 2011[/editline] that was for fight club
The Lives of Others. 9/10 Reminds me of Schindler's List, except a lot more subtle and in Eastern Germany.
Donnie Brasco - 8 out of 10 Superb acting, great writing, but personally, I didn't find it very enthralling. [sp]Ah, fugetta 'bout it[/sp]
Mad Max: Australia/10 This movie had better just be a few guys in leather running around the outback and driving V8s because if there was some underlying premise or commentary in it that I missed, what the fuck.
Starship Troopers 7.5/10 That was fun. Are the sequels any good?
The treasure of the sierra madre 8.5/10 Didn't know it could be that good.
Well lets see, American Psycho 8/10 The Good, The Bad, The Ugly 9/10 The Shining 8.5/10 The rise of the planet of the apes 9/10 Stakeland 6/10
Babel - 10/10 (Absolutely moving piece of hyperlink film... multiple stores going everywhere with emotion on such a grand scale) This is one of the very few I'd call a "MODERN Masterpiece".
Starship Troopers 7.5/10 That was fun. Are the sequels any good?
No. The 2nd one is actually somewhat decent, if you watch it as if it's not supposed to be taking place in the starship troopers universe, but as some B horror movie.
Buried 7/10
That's pretty damn specific. We could learn from this man.
Requiem for a Dream 9/10 Depressing as fuck, but really, really good.
Since a few people gave Mr. Nobody 10/10, I decided to watch it. wtf/10 I mean it was good, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but damn it was strange. To give it an actual rating; 9/10.
Final Destination 4 - 6/10 Apart from the new one this was the only one I hadn't seen, so I decided to watch it. There were obvious parts where there was meant to be 3D, but the kills were no less creative. With each film the emphasis seems to be less on the concept of death coming to kill people who have escaped accidents and more about how creative the kills can be. It's nicely tongue in cheek though, the fact that it doesn't take itself too seriously is why it's better than other series with a large amount of sequels such as Saw. The whole series is basically my guilty pleasure, I love them. I can't give it a score any higher than 6 though since it's basically the plot of the first three films with the investigating aspect toned down even further to make way for all the deaths.

Bridesmaids
Cowboys and Aliens, 7/10 It was a nice touch that no one actaully uses the word "aliens" or knows anything about space and such. Makes it feel much more realistic, and as if it could of actually happened.

Sorry for going into broken record mode but it had terrible acting, terrible effects, a terrible ending and a downright stupid plot hole (that is, if it's technically a plot hole) towards the end.
Shaun of The Dead - 10/10 Probably the 5th time I've watched the movie, and I love it more and more everytime I watch it.

I especially loved how a cinema in a shopping mall had a building site full of open cans of petrol and drums labelled 'WARNING: SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTIBLE'. Hilarious.
