I just watched the first episode of Carl Sagan's "Cosmos".
And it was like listening to the best, most interesting book in history. With the most talented narrator ever, even though it is a bit outdated, it still is better than any astronomy documentary I've ever seen.
If you're even the smallest bit interested in astronomy, you should definitely check this out.
10/10
The Exam
6/10
It was a great idea but the ending. The ending was average at best.
crank 10/10
my favorite part was when his heart was going to stop but then it didn't because it's fucking jason statham
no country for old men.
I'm not going to rate it untill someone tells me why it's so good. the only thing I liked was the actor for the main antagonist other than that to me the movie was pretty bland
Captain America (Not in 3D): 9/10
My only complaint is that some of the CGI was too obviously meant for 3D, and thus looked cheesy when watching it in 2D.
Click.
9/10
Manly tears were shed at the end, only to be completely and utterly removed when [sp]it turns out it was all a dream (actually not, but he was given another chance at it)[/sp] and then i laughed my ass off.

It's a great experience. Two, essentially villains, at war with an old man at the task to end it all. Sadly it's the old fart Tommy Lee Jones who is long passed his days of "The Fugitive".
Xavier's acting in it was sublime too... his facial expressions are haunting as shit.
Primer - 10/10
I watched it last night before I went to sleep and immediately watched it again when I woke up. I'll probably watch it at least one more time again before school starts too.
Slumdog Millionaire 8.8/10
You're a tool.
Kung Fu Panda 2
8/10
I was EXTREMELY surprised by this movie. Let me just say, that I despised the first one, and I hold the first movie as the worst thing Jack Black has ever done (how could he go so wrong after the Pick of Destiny?). I only watched it because it was the only movie on the plane that I hadn't seen, and I really liked it. I even cried a manly tear when [sp] Po has a flash back and watches his mother abandon her so he can be safe [/sp]
Much better than the first, by far. One of the few movie series in which the sequel is much better than the first. I also liked the cliff hanger ending in which [sp] you see Po's parents in a new panda settlement showing they are still alive [/sp]

I really liked Kung Fu Panda 2, did what a sequel should do. I would personally give it higher, like a 8.5 or 9

the 2d cartoony stuff was amazing, and so was the overall colour tones throughout the movie. it was just soooo pretty to look at.
movie was also good, but the art really made it.
these people who try to say that crank 2 is a good movie are fucking ridiculous. The movie was ironic? It was a satire? of which movie was it a satire, exactly? Crank 1? or maybe some other dumbass movie in which Jason Statham was the star? one of the three awful transporter movies maybe? or In the Name of the King? or death race or almost anything else the talentless meathead retard actor has ever been in. Even if crank 2 is actually supposed to be a "satire" of a bad movie, it's still a bad movie, with bad actors, bad direction, and bad writing. It's just all-around bad and the only people who like it are people who like worthless, fuckass movies with no value beyond LET'S DRIVE THIS CAR REAL FAST AND SHOTO AT PEOPLE AND FIGHT SCENE SEX END OF MOVIE.
If anyone here actually "appreciates" crank 2, let me know so I can take down a mental note that your opinion is stupid and you have bad taste - so that I won't waste time listening to your shit movie advice if I happen to read it in the future.

"The Cranberries - Linger"
Fitted so amazingly well in this movie, it's almost insane.
It's really underrated, since people think it's another boring Sandler movie. But it actually is sad as hell.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
8/10
It has funny parts and awesome moments but I expected a better ending, which is predictable. Fun to watch :)
Rachel Getting Married - 8/10. Anne Hathaway is one hell of an actress.
Pirates of the caribbean: On stranger tides
7.5/10
Not as good as 1 or 2, but better than the third.
A bit stale here and there, but some parts were pretty entertaining. And those mermaids were hawt as pancakes.

Hilarious. The movie is unintentionally witty. Highly recommended.

I loved the acting but some of the scenes were a bit long and got me bored
anyone ever watch U Turn?
Think I might watch it pretty soon
Horrible Bosses 8/10 - Really fun movie, Jamie Foxx was awesome and Aniston managed to pull her role off too.
before I watch this with my family is there any nudity?
very brief, also this is in no way a family movie.
very brief, also this is in no way a family movie.
thanks, dodged a bullet right there
Well, who's in your family? If everyone is over the age of about 14, you should be fine.
13 year old sister, and if there are sex jokes then no way, I feel really uncomfortable when my parents laugh at sex jokes I understand. Like when forrest gump jizzed
Four Lions, 7/10 - didn't find it that funny, but the part at the end really made me feel a bit odd inside.

crank 2 took the first one too far and kind of ruined it, but Crank 1 is a solid action film satire

agreed, four lions is an amazing comedy. Everyone watch it now
You should watch the alternate ending to that movie then.
I didn't care for it myself.
I already knew about that ending but I hadn't seen it yet - but oh my GOD THAT IS SO MUCH BETTER
it's ridiculous how much better the movie could have been with that ending. That would have gone from a 5/10 to an 8/10 easily.
Is there like a directors cut blu-ray where this ending is on the end (in full hd?)

lol, I hear you man. I hang out with my younger sister a lot too, but I have to be really selective about what I watch with her. Damn annoying!
