After seeing Mr.Nobody, I wanna watch more like this.
Is "The Fountain" a good choice then?
It's similar to Mr. Nobody, but it still doesn't come close the the awesomeness of it.
It's a great experience. Two, essentially villains, at war with an old man at the task to end it all. Sadly it's the old fart Tommy Lee Jones who is long passed his days of "The Fugitive".
Xavier's acting in it was sublime too... his facial expressions are haunting as shit.
You mean Javier? Heh Professor J.
You mean Javier? Heh Professor J.
Yeah I don't know why I spelt it like that :>
Watched To Kill A Mockingbird.
I enjoyed it greatly, but wasn't "moved" by any performances in it... still a brilliant movie though.
8.9/10
Limitless 7.5/10
Good story, technically well made and good actors. Most logical gaps will get closed at the end.
Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
9/10
I love Nick Park and all his movies/shorts.
A masterpiece and will be forever planted as perhaps the greatest sequel of all time next to Terminator 2. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Don't forget about Aliens.
A great sequel as well IMO.
will watch Apu Trilogy. i predict a lot of heart.

The sequel that expanded the original and performed as grand as the original is Godfather 2 but that's just me.
Black Hawk Down 8.5/10
It had way too much gunfire in it. There would be a couple of minutes of dialogue immediately followed by ongoing banging and wizzing bullets. But I did enjoy it for an action flick!
Why would you watch a war film and then complain about to much gunfire?
The big Lebowski
the dude/10
why haven't i seen this before? it was genius. sad about [sp]Donny dying, though. I always like Steve Buscemis characters, so it was p. sad for him to die.[/sp]
also wtf up with that cowboy?

He's the narrator, nothing wrong with him.
he's my favorite narrator of all time except morgan freeman
Casino Royale 8/10
I felt the pacing was a bit slow but that's like most bond films, I thought Daniel Craig was an excellent bond and the cinematography was amazing. Definitely better than Quantum of Solace. Hopefully the next 007 film will be better than Quantum.
Red dawn 10/10
Made me cry several times.

12 Angry Men
7.5/10
A fine film, but bear with the director's ideological stance against death penalty.
The audience is viewed with projection from early on that people who are for death penalty in the movie is short-sighted, uncreative ignoramouses.
Sherlock Holmes 9/10
I was astonished when Holmes [sp]revealed all the "magic" at the end.[/sp]
Super 8 5/10
This is what you get when you try too hard to imitate movies like Close Encounters, ET and the goonies: a film with a poor script, too many lens flares and no originality. The story was pretty lame and the ending was bad. The only things that i liked were the acting (especially the kids) and the photography. It just didn't live up to the hype.
I Love You Phillip Morris
Been meaning to watch this one, and it finally came on netflix streaming. It's a solid movie, I'd give it somewhere between a 7.5 and a 8
edit: Not sure what exactly is 'optimistic' about a personal opinion-based movie rating o.O

You have to admit it was funny what they [sp]did with his body afterwards.[/sp]
You shouldn't have been surprised

that joke was longer than sarah jessica parker's nose
I could join you!
The Uninvited - 7.5/10 The twist wasn't that original, but at least it's better than Sucker Punch. Even though not a single shot was fired.
It's not funny. It's annoying, boring and it pisses me off.
if the whole show isn't like this for you then you have a problem
if the whole show isn't like this for you then you have a problem
the fountain is a really really good movie in my opinion, it's full of scenery porn and a weird plot open to countless interpretation.
hmm, now i want to watch vanilla sky again... maybe i'll watch this mr nobody movie everyone is talking about.

i have to be really really high for it or robot chicken to be funny. and even then it has to be a good episode.
like the super extended fight scene between peter and the chicken, i was laughing my ass off the whole time.
but i had just blown my head off with some fresh kush so dunno... everything is funny on kush.
and the star wars family guy thing, that was pfunny high. like how whats his face is r2d2 and he pulls out a 45 and shoots at the tie fighters from the millennium falcon. or like how meg's only appearance in the entire thing was as the trash chute compactor monster worm thing.
a bad example would be this one robot chicken episode.. i don't remember anything except this scene on a plane.. i was high as balls and didn't laugh once.
also archer, was high as balls, watched like three episodes and laughed maybe twice.
From Dusk Till Dawn 7/10
Started out really well, then after the [sp]vampires[/sp] show up it was a bit of a jarring change in tone. I still liked it, though. It has Boss Nigger (Fred Williamson) playing a Vietnam veteran who rips out someones heart, that's pretty cool.
A Town Called Panic 8.5/10
I really loved this film. I remember seeing some of the shorts on TV years ago, that were dubbed into English. I don't know if an English dub of the film exists, but I saw it in French with English subtitles it was hilarious - I think that not knowing the language actually adds something to it, makes it funnier. The animation style (stop-motion with little figurines) is brilliant.
I laughed at this probably the most I've laughed at a film since seeing Four Lions. I was smiling the whole way through. The only reason I'd give it an 8.5 rather than 9 is that it sort of slows down on the jokes a little bit around 40 minutes in. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes animation, or anyone who just wants a laugh.
