Also wow the Vancouver studio is really meant to just pump out fucking sequels isn't it I guess this could be the death of pixar my autio merge, but yeah those are some interesting stats postal. I didn't realize that the first Cars got rated that poorly.
Well they are making a prequel, it's coming out after Brave. Read the OP / wikipedia
Uh he knows that, what we were wondering is which pixar studio was going to handle it, the old one or the one that did Cars 2.
Uh he knows that, what we were wondering is which pixar studio was going to handle it, the old one or the one that did Cars 2.
Oh, probably Vancouver since I think the original studio is doing Brave
I knew Cars 2 was gonna suck. I still need to see it for myself, though.
I will not lie to you, I enjoyed Tangled. Was a good spin on a classic tale. I'd like to see more of that type of thing come out of Pixar. Which is why I'm excited for Brave.

Out of all the movies to make a sequel from, why Cars? That was the worst movie Pixar made. Something about it just doesn't have the charm of the others.
Would that include the monsters inc prequel?
Probably about pixar vancouver, Here's a Link to pixar canada, They have faq's and shit like that http://www.pixarcanada.com/
Wasn't it already said that it would be a prequel with a June 2013 release date?
Yup.
That wasn't Pixar. It was Disney but not them
Really? I vaguely recall it being a joint collaboration... Could be wrong, however. Probably am.
They really scored The Incredibles more than WALL-E and Monsters Inc?
They really scored The Incredibles more than WALL-E and Monsters Inc?
The Incredibles was amazing what are you talking about [editline]24th June 2011[/editline] All of them except Cars and Cars 2 should be 100 imo
The Incredibles was amazing what are you talking about [editline]24th June 2011[/editline] All of them except Cars and Cars 2 should be 100 imo
Yeah for some reason The Incredibles is their least recognised film but one of their best.
Rotten Tomato scores for pixar copied from E-Online. I added cars 2 to it (assuming the cars 2 score stays somewhat the same): Toy Story, 100 percent Toy Story 2, 100 percent Toy Story 3, 99 percent Finding Nemo, 98 percent Up, 98 percent The Incredibles, 97 percent Ratatouille, 96 percent WALL-E, 96 percent Monsters, Inc., 95 percent A Bug's Life, 91 percent Cars, 74 percent Cars 2, 38 percent There's something very wrong with this new pixar studio. Then again the movie only has about 40 reviews as opposed to the ~200 some of the other pixar movies have so maybe it's a bit too soon to really judge.
Cars has always been my least favorite Pixar movie for some reason, so I probably won't be seeing Cars 2.
Iincredibles needs sequel!
A Bug's Life needs more love
I really need to get around to renting Up. I really want to see it.
Iincredibles needs sequel!
Pixar better stay the fuck away from it. I see nothing good coming from any future prequels / sequels. They best not ruin the Incredibles I fucking love that movie. There is no plausible good sequel to that movie.
I saw cars the doubleth at a drive in today and I just did not approve of it
I've loved just about every Pixar movie, but I really just did not care much for Cars at all.
I don't understand how come Toy Story 2 got 100% and toy story 3 got 99%, it should be the opposite, the third movie was hell better than the second.
Out of all the movies to make a sequel from, why Cars? That was the worst movie Pixar made. Something about it just doesn't have the charm of the others.
They earned a shtiload on all the toys and shit. Much more than Up for example.
I've just watched Cars 2 yesterday and it was the most okay-ish Pixar movie to date.
They earned a shtiload on all the toys and shit. Much more than Up for example.
Wasn't there an article explaining that posted here? How Pixar was steadily making riskier decisions with it's movies based on the toys? And how an old man doesn't make a toy, so they were pissing off Disney who makes most revenue off toy distribution.
Easy, a new villain threatens to take over the world
Yes but the first movie had so much character development, you'd lose all that in the second one. The characters would probably feel hollow, too cocky, and cliche. And they'd introduce some unnecessary characters to push more toys. Stay the fuck away from the Incredibles (and every other movie you've ever made but that one especially)
First look at Brave.
Why does this reminds me of tangled?
