It's called earning the audience's respect and faith. John Lasseter has made one of the most beloved movies of all-time. I think he can be spared as bad of a movie as Cars 2.

What matters is that Pixar is going fucking crazy because it's inundated with a level of respect and admiration that [I]no one should ever have.[/I] Pixar is a bunch of people in cubicles moving polygons. That's it. If they do something wrong, you say, "Hey, you fucked this up, guy."

I don't know if I'm late, but that second picture isn't one of the 'newly opened location of Pixar'. It's a picture of the Pixar exhibition in Melbourne which opened and closed in 2007. It was held at Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI); you can see the acronym printed across a window in the background. You can also tell because of the appalling Federation Square architecture.
