each spouting out anti-communist lines at the same time :v:
Those sword weapons on the bots look cool as hell. This also looks like way more customization then I was expecting, pretty exciting :hypeisreal:
i feel medabots with this dlc
I like to think during the polish phase of FO4, there was an internal competition similar to the one they had with Skyrim where they had a week to add something new to the game but instead of presenting what ideas employee's came up with they decided to flesh them out as full DLC packages.
Build-a-bot companions? Yes please

Does someone know the song that was used in this trailer? Is it from the official Fallout 4 Soundtrack?
I have no idea why, but for some reason the music to that trailer is excellent.
I love how they synced up the hits with the song.

In the few weeks after Fallout 4 released, the Fallout subreddit started coming up with DLC ideas such as a DLC about the ability to make your own robots possibly involving the Mechanistic, a DLC about rebuilding the Combat Zone having wasteland creatures and people fight gladiatorial style, and, the most popular idea, a DLC with a noir theme about Nick Valentine, possibly with huge Lovecraft tones and many other DLC ideas. Do some of those sound familiar? Even if they did end up getting the idea from the community, I'm fine with that because all of these are things I'd love to see in Fallout.

Many DLCs - I'm not saying these specifically, just in general - are ideas or features that were supposed to be part of the main game, but were chopped for one reason or another. The publisher then gives extra money to the developer to make the cut content into DLC based on their profit projections. In franchises like TES and Fallout, Bethesda and ZeniMax know that they're going to make enough money on the DLCs to recoup the expenditure. So they can shift people immediately onto the DLC as soon as they aren't needed on the primary game anymore.
Here is some evidence of what I was previously talking about so it's not just me talking out of my ass:https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/3un77b/the_giant_dlc_poll/
Monkeys and typewriters. It's just that shit like "Noir DLC with Nick Valentine" makes me think there is something there.
I've had like 4 run-ins with enemies using them, only one of them I survived. My pants didn't, I shit those immediately, but I managed to kill him before he could shoot me. The others I never had a chance to get away. That's one reason I like the suiciders to be honest, they can instakill you but it's hugely telegraphed and you can take them out with a shot to their carrying arm.
Which actually raises a question, because I've never tried it: Can you hit a suicider in the leg(s) and make them trip to detonate their nuke? [editline]15th March 2016[/editline] I'm honestly just picturing *pakpakpak* "WAGH" *faceplant* KABLOOEY
Can we get an AntAgonizer DLC with customizable ants too?
i don't get why the giant ants were left out of fo4 anyway, just like centaurs, they're iconic enemies. thankfully the robobrain makes a return in the robot dlc though
I'm thinking that those aren't in FO4 because there was no widespread release of FEV there. It's kinda handwaved that all the mutant things in the wastes in FO1/2 were from airborne FEV released when the West-Tek facility got cracked open by a nuke. In Fo3 it can be explained as leakage from Vault 81, but is kinda shaky in that it wasn't aerosolized by a nuke. Boston doesn't have any known FEV presence aside from Super Mutants and FEV isn't contagious unless you're directly exposed to it before it enters a subject. Also the whole "giant animals because of radiation exposure" thing never truly applied to the FO universe anyway. In reality, and in the FO world, the radstag is basically what would happen if an animal were to have been born in a post-nuclear world. Giant ants and centaurs are still icons of Fallout and it is kind of odd to not have them around.
