I think that it isn't really the matter that being a virgin is 'shameful' it's just that when you lose it you seem to reach a new level of understanding in sorts. Almost a cross into man hood.

It depends. For some people it's 5 minutes and for some it's multiple hours. Usually younger people take 10-15 to fully "reload".
Point is you'll last longer the second time anyway, and it still feels awesome.
