I've only heard of them opening once when someone ran over a cone without the locking ring, and even then all he did was add some oil and continue with the event
pulled the engine on my 2.7t audi a6 which was over an 18 hour job, replaced my twin turbos with OEM german engineered K04 TWIN TURBOS then put the engine back in, singlehandedly, while you guys were browsing the net for instruction manuals on how to replace the battery and change the oil on your civics. well, bye.

Also it's your own damn fault for buying something with the 2.7T. enjoy your torque converter also taking a dump, your leaky cam seals and shitty valve cover gaskets, bad coolant temp sensors and constantly failing coil packs.

ahaha took me a second to think of whats a 1.3, then whats 1.3 NA, then to remember someone who said 160 with it lol
Changed oil in mustang. This is why you always change oil after headgasket job. Half a quart of water in the bottom of my mustang oil. About right where the pickup was. No wonder I had lots of valve noise when I tried to run it =D Water lubrication 4tl.
im a 2.0t lol
Both cars I've owned are 2.0t :v:
I think I blew my turbo up tonight. Will have confirmation tomorrow maybe. If it is blown, time to slap that 20G on.

Will have confirmation tomorrow maybe. If it is blown, time to slap that 20G on.
Oh lame. What were you running before? 16G? What kind of boost are you running on that thing anyways? I haven't modded either of the two DSMs I've owned ('91 Talon TSi AWD and '92 Eclipse GSX), so I'm not big into the scene (more into the whole Honda thing, even though I love DSM) and don't remember the factory boost on one of those. I know the GSX I had ran at 12psi... The Talon I can't remember, it was my second car I ever bought and I paid $150 for it, had two chipped valves. I miss it, it was fucking beautiful. Today I helped Borellus's dad finish the fuel pump job on their Blazer. Afterwards we went and put a new battery in it, the old duralast took a crap on him.
^___^
Dont use those smileys, most of FP hates them and you will just get raged at :v:
