hacked the sienna dual electric fans, shroud that was much much taller than my supra radiator. I cutted it with a hacksaw around the edge and trimmed some part so that it would fit at a angle (both fans are offset on the shroud and end up right in the inlet/outlet of the radiator). made a few hole for bolts few tie-rap it is now fixed and solid. I tested both fan and GOD they push some air... just got to think of a electrical system for them (was thinking of something like: Thermoswitch (wich one??!!!) that could be bypassed by a manuel switch. That would trigger a 50amp relay that would feed the fans directly from the battery (with 2 inline 40amp fuses, one for each fan). Battery ---- Relay(50amp) < == (two inlines fuses, one for each positive wire of the fans) == fans (on two different wiring set and fuse but with a common relay). they would be grounded to the battery at all time via some 14ga or something. I'm searching for a thermoswitch that would activate the fans @ 90C but it would take like 75-80C to reset to the open position when it has been triggered. One of the fan draw 15amp maximum at startup, the other draw 35amp. one draw 10amp constant (full speed) and the other 25amp. edit: yeah I also bought a soarer r154 from a jdm front clip, those are the rarest fucking trans ever known to mankind. I'll swap the rear housing and shifter extension from my supra r154 to it, it'll be fine
[QUOTE=Sobek-;36747732]Cleaned the leather on the BMW with Meguiars Gold Class Rich Leather Name Is Way Too Long Conditioner. It's.... OK. Might be worth a second coat once the first starts to set in to properly catch any blotchy areas you may have.[/QUOTE] A follow-up; Either definitely go with two coats, or find a more suitable product. I have a feeling Meguiar's Lengthy Named Leather Conditioner just isn't suited to the high quality Nappa leather found in these BMW's. I applied the one coat last week and it looked and smelled fantastic, however a week on and I can see quite a few areas where it's starting to blotch. I'm going to do a second application now as it may need more than 1 or even 2 to fully take effect, but at the end of the day, some other products might be better suited but I haven't found them yet (everyone's got their own ideas!!!). Just so you know. If you've got Nappa leather (or any similar grade high quality stuff) maybe just avoid Meguiars Why The Hell Can't You Make The Name Smaller Gold Class Leather Conditioner Wipes :)
I sat one of those large plastic cup fountain drinks on my sunroof while trying to get into my car and the fucker decided to slide it's self and then explode like a volcano and send the lid flying and tip it's self over before I could grab it and get soda all over the side of my car and a ton right into the driver's seat, dash and floor. So I wiped down almost every surface in my car including all around the hatch, door seals, roof, and interior panels. Jesus christ the people who ride in the passenger seat of my car are scummy or something, so many marks and smudges everywhere.. Previous to getting food I had vacuumed it but I hadn't planned to wipe down much since I didn't think it was all that dirty inside the car. Does anyone here have any tips on upholstery cleaning? I have an old Bissell Green Machine which my mom uses on the carpets and couches and stuff when people spill shit and I think we have a carpet cleaner too. Should I just use one of these? Is there any specific cleaner I should use for it? I'd really like to clean up all the seats in my car since apparently they are dirty enough to stain my white shirt when wet..

My Catalina has nothing past the catalytic. Sounds beast*. Bet it sounds a lot better, and louder. *When it runs....
I went to the junk yard to look for an older model hood for my truck but they just scrapped a whole bunch of dodges so I was out of luck. I looked over the fence to the new arrival vehicles and I seen a blue van that may have the rear bumper im looking for along with the lower control arms that will lower my truck. There may have also been another older model truck but it was hard to tell if it was my generation of ram or the older one because it was a crappy black color and far away. I also seen a black commanche and a red commanche, one auto and one standard. Really cool vehicles, never see them at all and here at the junk yard are 2 right for the picking. The black was an auto and the body was great, and the red was a standard that was hit on the side lightly, looked like concurs almost. Wouldn't mind driving one of those, one of my favorite 4x4s along with the old toyota pickups. I was thinking of changing out my grille if it was easy, what year should I got with? 1972 [thumb]http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/3756/1641/21888320001_large.jpg[/thumb] 1974 [thumb]http://www.dodgeramcharger.com/featured/1974/images/74rchargerbygfarler_1.jpg[/thumb] 1977 [thumb]http://www.440magnum.com/mopars/2009/july/images/77d200byjsnyder_3.jpg[/thumb] 1979 [thumb]http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/9048198/129_0307_04z+1979_Dodge_Ram+Front_Driver_Side_View.jpg[/thumb] 1979/1980 Quad Lights [thumb]http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6009/6016893275_8f736cf9a8.jpg[/thumb] Dodge sure liked there grilles My ultimate goal is to have something like this, however my truck will never look like this as this one is a completely different year, be nice if I could get a trade for an old shortbox of this year though. That hood won't fit either. It might look damn close but it's going to be slightly off. Same with the tailgate, in fact, a D150 tailgate would almost fit if the latch style was the same. It'd still be slightly off though. Bumpers you're probably going to be able to work with though.
The old style hood works fine, I need to change that thing behind it with the vent in it out in order for it to look good. This was hard to find but here is a guy who did the same thing: [thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/f03dbb64.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/ba29fac8.jpg[/thumb] There may be a truck with the 1979 single light grille which is the one I'm liking the best right now that I could grab. I really wish I could find an older style shortbox, next to impossible to ccome across. If I had one i would be able to make my truck or another truck into a shortbox with ease.
R154, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, bellhousing; meet 1jzgte now kiss ... This week end, that engine is going in the supra

today i drove my car
I took off the VW emblem that was on the grill of the Golf and painted it black and I took out the rear shelf thing to make a custom one that fits bigger speakers or refurbish the one I have. Will most likely make a new one though so I don't fuck with the original one
Went shopping Decided to change fuel filter and add seafoam to the gas tank in an AAP parking lot on the way there. Also changed wiper blades. Guess it was time to change the filter, brown/black fuel and shit shot out of the filter when I pulled off the line. Getting fed up with this 2.2 burning so much oil. What do you guys think I should do for a build? Phase 2 SOHC 2.2 with cams Phase 2 SOHC 2.5 N/A with cams Phase 2 SOHC 2.5 with 2.2 heads and cams (2.2 heads bump up the compression) Save up for either a 2.0 turbo, 2.2 turbo, or possibly 2.5 turbo The N/A builds I could probably do for $1000 each, if I do the work myself. I'd get all new internals, seals, etc. Port and polish, all those goodies. If I get a 2.2 or 2.5 N/A and don't put in cams, I can just drop the engine in without changing ECU or anything. I'm pretty sure the engine I have now isn't worth saving. It was ran out of oil twice (oil pan ripped open, didn't know until it was too late.) I bet I'd have to get all new internals along with having the cylinders bored out slightly. Though I could be lucky and just need new rings and some honing, but I doubt it.
Got my car back from the shop today, I hooked up the PCV wrong so now it runs perfectly, no rough idle or acceleration, got the exhaust hooked back up now, so it's really quiet :( My battery was also dead so I had to spend the money on a full 2.5" exhaust to go towards a good battery. Getting all the fittings to get my boost gauge hooked up to my engine though, gonna be interesting tomorrow.
[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/hocrr.png[/IMG] Changed my ECU temp sensor. I dropped the new one on the floor accidentally from like 4 feet, should be ok? Also, trying to unbolt my O2 sensor. Am I supposed to heat the manifold first before I do it or cold? Cause all I'm doing is stripping my socket and wrench
I always use a 7/8 wrench (which is the general size for o2 sensors) and have the manifold warm, have never had major issues pulling an o2 sensor out of a car, and I've done a lot of them. I'll take a minute here to say that o2 sensor sockets are shite and if you can get a wrench on that bitch you damn well should.

I plan on boosting my 22RE when I can afford a manifold and then timing chain kit (I am going to do that all at once!). I'd like to make another ~50hp and know I can. Just something to pep it up while staying mostly stock. The 22RE can take boost pretty well in low amounts even on the stock non-Turbo ECU, people have had great luck with up to 8PSI on the stock AFM (Using it pre-turbo, of course). There's a guy on youtube with a red '85 just like mine who has the exact setup I'm going for, except I'll be using a slightly smaller downpipe and internally gated turbo.
maybe im still doing it wrong. Do I have to have my exhaust mani scorching to unbolt this fucker: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/iqT84.png[/IMG]

That sounds good to me. I want somthign like that, but I also want a quiet luxury wagon. Cant decide. Annoying Exhaust / Quiet Luxury Wagon.
