The mounts on my 99 Integra were toast as of a month ago, I could pull on the intake manifold and the motor would move a decent bit. It also smashed my fuse for my sub which the previous owner decided hanging around behind the motor was a great place to run it instead of messing with the grommets in the firewall..
Meant to say rims. [editline]26th July 2012[/editline] How did the black paint job turn out, was it a cheap rattle can job or did you put some time into sanding it all down?
ordered some redline mt-90 mated the fusebox and the jza70 harness tried to understand the bodyharness/jza70harness mating, couldnt... I'm with stupid

Didn't know there was a performance shop that specializes on Nissans near me. Decided to give them a visit, it was like a Nissan candyshop. S13's and S14's everywhere on the parking lot. My girlfriend bought all sorts of stuff like water pump/thermostat/fan/fanshroud/coolant tank for her S13. If anyone is near Durham, North Carolina and is interested, PM me. Posted it here because I'm still slowly working on it. Just sprayed the wheels (chrome was ruined.) Still need to clean the inside.
Ordered a bumper for my dart from Calgary for $80, pretty good deal, can't wait to get it. I want to order some metal and start to get my dart knocked out but my dad says that I should wait till the winter, :(.
Got my dealership to replace the drivers side door lock tumbler for free :D Replaced the light control module - bye bye electrical gremlins!!! Ordered new fan clutch - bye bye sounding like an old jeep!!! Replaced headlight switch - bye bye not being able to turn on fogs or parking lights!!! Cleaned and waxed whole car - looks like sex on a stick.

Knowing how ancient Nissan 240sx's are, every part has an equivalent replacement/upgrade by now. Felt like a poorfag when I went to that store. There was this normal looking Japanese man who just sat down in the lobby. Until they brought out his order shipment. Turbo, BOV, headgasket/spacer, rebuild kit, camshafts, rockers, arms, pistons, intercooler, catback exhaust system. Then this gentleman in a suit came in and got his order. Catback exhaust system, full tein coilovers, computerized height adjustment. I've never seen mufflers so huge in my life, they were bigger than the people holding them. The coils are bigger than your thigh. Felt like a loser lol when their S13's are all full-blown modified with illegal Japanese engines Made me want to work harder today so I can get a reward at the end like they did
Everyday now, it's always something... Had the vac line that went to my FPR just split at the end, causing a big vac leak, thankfully I have more line and my friend had a clip I used for the time being.
Bah [t]http://puu.sh/Mbza[/t][t]http://puu.sh/MbzE[/t] One annoying running spot in the primer but I'll just sand that down on monday :v: and the other side which I'll be starting on on monday [t]http://puu.sh/MbAc[/t][t]http://puu.sh/MbAF[/t]
Prework posting, rotating the tires, I need new pads but im not getting a paycheck this week soooo yeah. Gonna clean the drums out with some brake cleaner too, presuming there is a lot of dust back there.
Cleaned the garage and set the GoPro up for tomorrow. This is the last time my mother gets to park in the garage for awhile. Tomorrow the real work should start.

Today was a triple-header for things that I did. First I started with a total fluid check since my CEL was on. Sure as shit, my coolant was almost dry - added a lot and the CEL went off. Phew. Second, I secured the trim to my driver's side B pillar since there was a screw missing. and Thirdly, I installed my new radio. This took me two hours. TWO. HOURS. But was well worth it. Everything went smooth except the radio was loose after installing it so I padded the back of the radio with a few layers of electrical tape -- Its now snug. Worked on the Ford a bit. Vacuumed the inside (lots of hay and sawdust.) Did a temp fix on the radio surround. Previous owner installed a radio that didn't even fit in the radio slot, they ended up bending the plastic surround around the radio and cracking the top. All I used was ductape. Didn't feel like taking the time to properly fix it when the radio doesn't even work. Took off the door cards, going to paint them tomorrow. The passenger's side power window wasn't working. Found out the motor was unplugged. Plugged it in, and it works, but the motor is a bit weak. I'll clean up the rollers and track tomorrow to see if that helps a bit. As for my Soobie, it needed the valve cover's redone (new gasket around it and new spark plug gaskets) and all four axles needed to be replaced. Had a local garage do that. ~300 miles from my next oil change.

So I was at some shop to buy oil, filters and coolant, obviously for my long awaited top swap, and then, I saw a deal on some subwoofers and even bargained on the price.... 425$ with the taxes, 2 years no questions asked replacement warranty, for a amp and two 12" subs and the case... Overall they play very nicely.

I just find that using those are a lot more durable than what you used.
If it's a permanent thing you should always solder and shrink wrap. The crimp-able connectors work alright, but they will come apart if tugged on. The twist-on wire nuts are fine. Just as durable as crimp connectors. And nobody should ever see it anyways.
Painted the inner light housings from the grille of my '68 today (not going to call it a 67 anymore, more a 68 than anything right now). Turned out nice for a rattle can job, not matte but glossy a little which was what I was trying for. [thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/6cf19c66.jpg[/thumb] Also took the remaining cragars off the other dart, looking to get $250 for them. Mainly because you don't have to cut your wires every time you want put a new radio in or swap em' out. They're a "bull-shit cutter".
I soldered and heat-shrinked mine. But then I knew I'd only do it once because I put in a standard DIN connector that should be near enough compatible with anything else I decide to put in there.
