just don't forget to adjust that shit.
I did my best to make it so people coming my way are not blinded. However if I forget to put out my high beam they're blind as fuck. Luckily I almost never forget that :D
Sorry eww. Not a fan of HID in reflector housing. no matter what you have to adjust them too low to prevent blinding.
And is that Duct-Tape Body work I see on the bumper? :v:

Yeah I mainly did it for the white light cause I had some extra LED lights the yellow-ish color of the bulbs didn't really work.
Yeah I hit a biker last week (Darn bikers, it was at a place where alot of accident happen though), he was fine but his bike left a pretty big mark on my car. I finally got arround to get to the insurance to cover it.
You don't wanna know how much it costs to replace it. (The lower 'spoiler' and the actual bumper)
Need a new ecu
for fuck sakes
I could imagine, The front bumper spoiler for my last car was 1430$ Canadian.

Mine totals to 1300€ installed and painted. And thats why they invented insurance.

'67 VW Bug that was hacked up by a previous owner (which i'm going to leave pretty much hacked up with a rat's nest of wiring and generally shoddy workmanship and quality)
started painting today.. there was a big splotch of bondo on the driver's side rear quarter that I sanded down to bare metal, hit with some anti-rust stuff and then bondo'd again but i need to to another layer and sand it down again 'cause it's still quite rough
but other than that, the bug is now officially military-ish green (i'm too broke to afford custom spray cans at $30 a pop and i'm too stupid to go buy a paint gun and get a pint mixed). now that it's (matte) green i'm thinking about a big white star on either door or a VW symbol but who knows, i'm kinda lazy and i still have more important stuff to get done
mother nature is a meanie and rain sucks when you're trying to bondo and paint without a roof over your head.

Holy shit, are you Norwegian? :v:
I didn't have a weather problem when I fixed the rear quarter panel on my Beetle but every time I started doing anything on the Golf it started raining. Now, weeks later I started on the Golf, I've just finished the front wings...

not quite, i live in new england.. so it's like turning down the weather a couple notches but still absolutely ridiculous and awful. it was pure luck i managed to just barely finish painting all but the bondo'd panel before it started pouring
nice, sunny day and then all the sudden storm clouds out of nowhere and pouring rain pretty much any day you're trying to do something outdoors during summer/spring/fall
then come winter it will be like 65, gorgeous out and then all the sudden everything is covered in a foot of snow.. not to mention salt, salt everywhere and on everything just eating away at vehicles and turning them into piles of rot with 4 wheels attached loosely by a glue like substance consisting of rust and tears

Sounds exactly like how Norway has been ever since the snow melted.

I wish we only got a foot of snow. Normally here we have at least two or three feet and that is little compared to the north
I just got a new cabin air filter, and grabbed some anti-seize so i could check my spark plugs.
[t]http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/1962/dsc0524ox.jpg[/t]
Time for new ones, i'd wager. I also don't know what the gap should be or have the means to check it. I'll just pick up some new ones and figure it out later. Where can i get spark plugs at?
One of my friend is a fucking beast.
He had a old jza70 ecu (1jzgte from supras turboR, what I needed) that busted on him in the old days before he went megasquirt. Well he decided to open it and take a look, he found a few leaked capacitors and a damaged board. Next thing I know, he replaced all the caps and fixed the board.
Car start, drive and boost; BUG FREE.
it is officialy completed... I am a happy man
he will also repair my current one and I'll keep it as a spare or sell it or something
edit: also it is a BLITZ ACCESS ecu, higher rev limiter, more aggresive timing, corrected AFR, raised fuel cut, no more speed limiter.
YAY

Any auto parts store and probably even walmart(don't).
You could also order them from RockAuto or somewhere online if you like to wait for your parts, I'm normally incredibly impatient and run down to the local AutoZone/Kneckts.
kept getting a message last week in the wk2.
right rear brake lamp out. then the message would clear and the bulb would worked fine..
so today i replaced the rear brake lamps. hopefully the message wont return

We (me and my friend) weren't going for a 100% fix, just as much as we could without replacing anything. We hammed the shit out of my decklid/trunk frame, and took a heat gun to the bumper. We still need to buff over the repainted spots to blend out the overspray, but i'm thoroughly pleased! Worth the $17 can of color matched paint. We repainted the rusted massive dent, and the big keyed mark to the right of the lock on the trunk (too blurry to see in the before picture). It's fixed enough that I'll never worry about replacing the decklid/bumper, at least not until money is falling out of my wallet because i have nothing else to spend it on (never).
Got a brand new turbo-back exhaust in the GTi, made a video, took a few pictures, will be up soon.
Only pic I have is the difference between the old, puny downpipe and the new 3" one

Just put two new 6x9 speakers in the Suburban and amped em. We're gonna put em in an enclosure so they're not free-floating but currently, non-enclosed, they make the suburban actually vibrate from bass. It's so sexy.
No clue whats going on with the fucking coolant "leak." Can't find anything and have no clue where that gallon went, but oh well. I'll keep my eye on it.

Tighten your flux capacitor, its leaking and warping your dimension.
Youtube's shake correction made it look smooth but VERY weird.
Sorry about that, chaps.
-snip, wrong topic-
lol shit, My car run but sometime the ecu just decide he doesn't want to inject anymore and I have to reset it...
happen after like 20min, I suspect when the ecu is hot
What do you think might be the problem, mang?
Speaking of ECUs, going to try and find me an OBD0 B16a dizzy or B18A1 dizzy, so that I can order a GSR map for my PM6 and run one-wire VTEC but return the harness to stock. It's been hacked up so much on this CRX, it's sad to see.
well, the ecu I'm rocking (that is randomly shutting off after 20min) was previously broken and recently repaired
but it is possible that there was more damage beyond the capacitors...

There might still be some cold solder joints, so when it heats up it stops working. If you know anyone who is any good at ReFlowing, you could have them go over it. Other then that I can't further speculate what the problem could be. I'd have to see it for myself but I don't think that's going to happen.

Is that a gsi ? or 1.4
Only a 1.4 GLS
I don't actually like that car but I like your style :v:
So I don't know what to think
You're doing great things to it but I think it's the wrong car to those things with
[sp]Not including repairing it... every car deserves to be fixed but the modifications[/sp]
