Well, I am getting a new exhaust tomorrow after my classes. I have the muffler and everything and was going to set it up like this, except I have no tip. Too ricey? I think it will turn out well.
If it moves with the noise, why not?
Going to try and polish the chrome on my old Benz. It's in sort of a bad state right now, with lots of tiny scratches. Took this picture a while ago, think I posted it already. [t]http://i.imgur.com/QXUw5.jpg[/t] Don't think polishing it will help too much but everything that can get me away from getting new chrome right now will be good.

Polishing does wonders

Seems to work, however it doesn't make much of a different after polishing that part of the bumper for ~30 minutes. However it did make it quite a bit more shiny.

When you step on it though it gets moderately loud. The turbo definitely spools better, but it still doesn't match having an open pipe. Quick question, would it be a good idea to disconnect the battery so the ecu can reset, or is it not really that nessary. My ecu is adaptive so I'm leaning toward it not being nessary.
Well in the 3800 scene here, usually we reset the ecu after all fuel trim affecting mods, not flow mods, unless it is related to the headers/catalyst(because those affects fuel trims), but just switching muffler won't change enough to be worthy of a ecu reset. And it sounds nice, but you should've kept the cherry bomb under the car and made the exit at least a tip or something, it looks weird/bad just to have the big red cop magnet hang there.

The guy there didn't have any tips for that size, so I guess I just have to wait it out. Also I got it tucked under there as much as possible, I was thinking all day about location, either there or further back behind the fuel tank. Hopefully it doesn't look like a shitty ricer.

And if you just upsized the catback size, I really don't think you need to reset the ecu, but it won't harm to do it if you really feel to.
I changed the oil on my subaru but forgot to reset the ecu so it leaned out and exploded true story.
dem crasy shoobies
I changed the oil on my subaru but forgot to reset the ecu so it leaned out and exploded true story.
...What?
Do you really need to question what is obviously sarcasm or a joke? :v:
Because boxer rumble
well since it IS a boxer, could be true :P
I may love subaru's boxer engines, but their interior is horrible. I can drive a yugo with less rattles than a subaru.
I may love subaru's boxer engines, but their interior is horrible. I can drive a yugo with less rattles than a subaru.
what's interior?
what's interior?
Køretøjets interiør Or are you trolling now? :|
Dook my door trims off to replace my speaker plastic today. Damn thing takes long enough to do but easy fun.
Køretøjets interiør Or are you trolling now? :|
Trolling? No, "trolling" is when people are being fucking dickholes. He's simply joking, impyling his car doesn't have any. It's sarcastic humor. Which we've been over [del]like a million times that it doesn't work in forums and should not be used in AA[/del] and can all agree it's funny.
what brad said :v
Time to tear into this bitch and do a timing chain. I haven't started it in like a month so it took a long time to fire up, she doesn't like being cold! :c Chain kit should be here in 4-5 days. Thanks, Borellus.
Remember when I first fired up my L67, for a motor that sat for a unknown amount of months, it strangely, fired up faster than my warm L36 :v:
Added a convex mirror to my pass side of the 3.
Gave the car a nice bath and washed the windows.

Called up a bunch of machine shops around here, lowest quote I got was around $3500 for labor + parts. This is for a forged bottom end consisting of Eagle Rods and Manley pistons. My dads ready to get it built, so it should be off to the machine shop soon.
Took off the front "fender" (No idea what they're really called), of my bike, gonna talk to my guitar teacher tomorrow about getting the scratch fixed/repainted.
