I confused the fuck out of everyone I knew when I replaced my stereo with one that had a minidisc deck in it. I found a 6-disc CD changer for $4 and just finished installing it in the back. Had to use an endoscope and a drain snake to pull the cables through the car.
Took some interior panels out

Took the carpet out, rust not too bad... on the passenger side.
The sandy shit is absorbent stuff cos floor was wet.

Nice vacuuming, it really brings out the big gaping rust hole and accentuates your garage floor.
That rust is pretty much as bad as my coronet(which we have yet to pick up GOD DAMN IT DAD). Except my coronet's is spread between the two sides of the floorpan.
I also cant get the drivers seat out to pull the carpet completely, the nut got rusty and swelled and i broke it trying to vice grip it.
Probably hit it with a grinder tomorrow.
And then order a floor pan >.>
Talked with another machine shop today, guy said he was in my shoes 20 years ago, and would like to help out as much as possible. Looks like im getting the same job I was quoted $5800 for by another shop, for a nice price of $3500ish.
Hes doing the assembly work for free, and checking out all my parts for free. Im just paying for machine work, and parts.

Oh GOD
I think the floor in my ram is about that bad, I just threw a piece of metal on it and it's fine.
Speaking of my ram, I may be selling it, I'm going to check out a Indy 500 ram on Saturday with my cousin, I'm thinking $3500 but my cousin says $3800 is reasonable.

5.9 magnum, fairly high KMs but I'm pretty sure I have a readily available replacement engine, 3.55 posi or it could be a 3.92, 17x9 rims all around, factory facing stripe, cool truck. If I didn't have the dart to tend to I would spend a grand if that on the interior and make it really nice, change the interior to black too. Stock q mile time is about 16 flat, would have to bump that down quite a bit, better than my current rams supposed 17.7 second time.
threaded in the new spark plug sleeve threads thing. runs great again
Finally got my box of interior bits I bought off someone.
Went from this chewtoy of a handbrake..

To a nice clean handle and new button!

Nice! That thing really did look like a chew toy.
Thinking about doing a DIY watermeth injection system
Shouldnt be too expensive (<200$) and a fun DIY.
Only problem is: where do I put the tank and the pump, my engine bay is maximum stuffed
When I had water/meth injection on my turboCRX I just used the wiper fluid res as the res, water/meth doubles as windshield washer fluid :v (Not really, I unhooked the wash mechanism so it wouldn't spray flammable solution all over my windshield)
yeah but I don't think I'd be able to mount the pump below the windshieldwasher res unfortunatly and I'm pretty sure those pumps are gravity fed.
Obviously that would be the best solution avaible since the res is already there and there is a light in the dash for low windshield qty.
I'll look into that but I probably won't install the system until spring, I'll just plan and test it at home.
Taking my truck into shop class on Tuesday, going to work on the exhaust on the lift..
no more hurt neck and back.
Massive rock lodged itself into the front right tyre. Fixing the flat fuuuuuuuuuu
The CRX had plenty of room, can't remember if it was gravity fed or not now that you mention it, but I am pretty sure I had it the same level as the bottom of the res.
Sucks about your tire mang. I miss having a shop + tire machine, Wal-Mart charged my $16.36 to put a half-ass decent tire I had on another rim for the Corsica. Fack.
How the fuck do i manage to brake both the thread for the altenator bolt and the thread in the engine block where it mounts to..
what have i done to deserve this...

They only charged me 52 dollars to take my old tires off, mount, balance, and install the new ones. Doesn't seem too bad. I think they hooked me up, because they felt bad for me with my broken stud, and warped hubs. It should have cost closer to 70.
>used to it being done for free by myself
I don't like people touching my car or parts of my car besides myself. Plus, mounting all four of those tires with balancing and install on your vehicle would have cost a total of $40 at my shop. $70 is ridiculous for replacing 4 tires with some you bring in and balancing them. Absolutely ridiculous.
tried to do a alignment on a Chevy S10 that didn't need it in the first place :I

No business. It's in middle of a town with a population of around ~1000, a highway town of sorts. I couldn't afford to keep the bills paid so I shut it down before I got buried in debt.
Gonna take the 727 in for a rebuild on Monday, hopefully. If all goes well I might be back to hooning by next Sunday.
my break line on my riviera was broken..and up under the frame i couldn't even see it to fix it, so i said fuck it and took it to firestone..that was a beautiful 400$ bill for a 5$ break line.

I've done a few brake line replacements. I might pay $400 to never fucking do one again.
