put shoe between wheel and fender, if you can fit it, you fail.
I just finished splicing a head unit into GF's 240 in the dark. Gold-plated couplers and I crimped them in. Still missing a driver side rear speaker but finally some modern electronics in this 80's thing:

no pioneer 0/10
Can't see maker of radio.
?/10, 11 if really good.
Advanced the timing during diagnostic exponentially thought the engine was going to explode.
At least it reverted to the ideal timing when I plugged it back in. So much power from the engine now. Can go up hills without feeling like a go kart.
Also going to install new Sony rear speakers.
it's a dual XDM6351 if i'm correct
8/10 Duals are pretty decent for the price range.
Also a Dual owner, remote, iPod and aux connection master race.
Got the front clip pieced together today.

Front clip tacked in, inners are still removeable so i can keep working the metal till it fits in like nothing.
Silly Snowmobile doesn't have addiquit cooling for beatin on the Suzuki Turbo 4-stroke it has. So installed Water gauge, and HID for fun.

Turns out GF's 240 was already decked-out with JDM TYTE Pioneers all around.
Only problem was the fronts are newer than the rears. Also one speaker is missing. So I just bought her Sony's. They're pretty decent; wish I had a woofer though.
Got my new speakers installed today. Oh man do that thump. I would've taken more photos but its cold as tits outside and my fingers were frozen

installed new fog lamps. Gotta get the fuses/grouding sorted out though
Installed Injectors (Didn't go well yet again)
One of them seems to not work, making my volvo a 3 banger.

But, what I did get done was a Catch can install.
[img_thumb]http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/231/img03221.jpg[/img_thumb]
Fits perfectly, 15mm In/Out with 5/8 hose.
Most of the cans were really tiny with like 9mm or 10mm holes, so this was a bargain for 40 bucks.
That was the only place I could mount it though without having to go to the store for more hoses.
My big damn front sway bar finally came in today...and I can't install it because the poly bushings are backordered.
Damnit, Summit, why has thou forsaken me!? I'm so used to getting my shit from them in two days because I live one state over from the warehouse.

Sounds like valve-adjustment for me
sounds like why are you installing a catch can when you have obviously more important thing things to do, like fixing your ecu/injectors/3bangerinsteadof5

Actually, it's a 4 cylinder B230, those were upgraded injectors. I installed the old injectors and everything ran fine once again.

What's the best way to clean the contacts on those horrible inline Citroen/Peugeot connectors? I've tried unplugging and reinserting the plug a few times but I'm wondering if there's a more thorough way.
Still having trouble with my coolant sensor. Going from -10C to +215C in 3 seconds is definitely a valid reading. :/ It's causing my erratic idling (There's a direct correlation between the temperature reading and the engine RPM when I chart it out)
Interestingly the engine sounds more "rattly" when the temperature sensor goes mental and reads -50C. Is there a reason for this?. Just curious. It's a turbo diesel.
My S13 as well as my GF's might need new rack and pinion.
The boots have been torn open since we have purchased them and remained so for who knows how long. Her's is particularly alarming as her powersteering fluid is leaking out exponentially.

Contacts? CRC connector cleaner. Its a milder form of the MAF cleaner. I plan to do the same because S13 are notorious for the headlight switch not working properly. Replace your coolant gauge sensor as well as your ECU temp sensor. Otherwise you're going to waste a lot of gas and risk not reading temperatures correctly.

-50c and 215C will change the pulse timing and width quite a bit.
I'd check for shorting wiring, I had a probleme with my supra and the ol' watertemps shorting on the waterneck.
Bought a FMIC the other day, it finally came in the mail, holy shit this thing is a turd.
Nothing fits at all, there's holes where there shouldn't be and no holes where there should be, the silicone couplers don't fit. God damn it. I saw nothing but good reviews for this, and on holiday sale, I thought it was perfect
/rant
Anyway, we got it somewhat mounted today

First thing my dad does when he sees it though is grab it whole hand and put a huge ass thumb print in the fins -.-
I pulled my old leaf springs out today. Need to do some prep and paint on the hardware before the new ones go in.
Not that you guys with your imports would know anything about leaf springs...
My dad and I changed out the leaf springs in his 89 Chevy Van 20 when we put an axle from a GMC Vandura of the same year in.
We pulled at the now defunct Copher U-Pull-it now LKQ. In the rain.
Speaking of Imports, got a vid I'm uploading so I can show off a new feature or two.

leaf springs? did I just time travel to 1920's
Im refinishing a set of wooden doorhandles out of my buddys 1971 F100 that he bought for $100. Runs great after we rebuilt the carb, shifts good. There is one rust spot that has gone through, the other 3-4 spots are surface rust. All in all, he got a killer deal.Ill post pictures of the handles when im done.

Well, Corvette...
Got all the parts to rebuild my transmission sitting in the garage, also got my last injector and ecu chips. Going to have a fun weekend :)
And yes, I am sure one of the injectors is bad because I tested the resistance, which was 1 (dead) instead of 12.6.
