Do subs in the boot like that sound any good from the cabin? Can't imagine it being that good, just something to boast about.
Bass is non-directional. As long as you're within proximity of the subwoofer, you could stick that bitch anywhere in the car and it's going to sound awesome. I've always put my subs in the trunk (save for my last Miata, I had a bazooka tube in the cabin) and they've always had more than enough SPL for my tastes.
I had a 12" Infinity before this until the voice coil finally decided to fry, it was a wonderful sub. Replaced it with this MBQuart I picked up on Amazon for $30. Not nearly as much SPL, but it's super punchy in comparison to the Infinity. Clarity and tight, controlled bass are what win me over with a sub anyways. I've learned when it comes to subwoofers, the right combination of sub, amp, and enclosure can make all the difference, along with proper wiring technique and soldering. I always pair a sub up with an amp that has a close RMS and max rating, and I make sure the enclosure is the same airspace as specified by the subwoofer. I have a small trunk so I had to sacrifice a larger enclosure, but for subs that require a lot of airspace I just pack quite a bit of fluff in with the box to simulate additional airspace.

I've always wanted to put some subs into the little box under the back seat, do you think this is possible (and if so, how difficult would it be)?
[sp]so all dem bitches wana sit in da back[/sp]

It's easy as fuck and it's a very rewarding experience. If you don't have an aftermarket head unit, you can use a line level inverter to tap into your stock speaker wiring to provide signal to the amp. Buy your shit online, I buy everything car audio related on Amazon and it's insanely cheap. 3/4" MDF enclosures go for super cheap on eBay too, and they're generally good quality.
Get four jackhammers fgt
Where else would we put subs, anywho.. the cabin?
Wait.

:)
Well, some people put them in the trunk, like this:

And I think it takes up way too much space, space which could be used to transport stuff.
I think pretty much everyone has them in the trunk.
Yeah, but as clutch2 showed, you can still have them in the trunk, but not have them take up so damn much space, which is what I don't like.

Get a slim one then

shaker 1000 system
Lubed up steering U-joint and steering column bushing with white lithium grease
No more rubbing sound when i turn and its cold, but my steering is still not right. Still have a clunk. Thinking its the rack, but ill still investigate the mounts first just in case as well as lube bushings and stuff.

And the biggest issue was constant overheating in exactly 15 mins from start whilst only idling.
I blame the prior owners, they probably didn't do the job right/got warped heads from the junkyard.
I've heard the legends with their C series motors have a huge problem with the EGR passages clogging and causing the car to run majorly lean which results in a blown/seeping headgasket over time.

This might have to do with your issues.
GF's high pressure power steering line has a nice slice on it. Power steering still works but that line will get progressively worse, and with a dead rack and pinion. Damnit, WHY EXPLODING FAN BLADES WHY?!
Would be cool to have some custom-made AN high pressure power steering lines.

You = Hero. Yes, the channels under this cover on the intake were FULLY clogged and the EGR metal pipe, the one that usually comes from the exhaust, is broke off.
So, I know mostly what to look for in the future AND can come up with what I hope is a fix.

No problem, I advised my girlfriend's brother to get rid of his Legend ASAP simply because his are becoming more and more of a problem and there's actually a check engine light for the EGR. Doesn't seem worth it for his car which would probably go for maybe $800 anyways.
If you've already dug in that far and it's common for the headgaskets to "blow", I'd honestly go all the way and replace them for the peace of mind but they could done from what you say..
Good luck, you've still made good deal on that car! Most people would probably dump stopleak and other retarded shit into the poor car and deal with it til they blow it up then pay a mechanic thousands or junk it..
Fixing it is far from an issue, I'm practically always fixing something. I won't junk this car till I'm positive theres no fixing it, besides, I need it kinda badly and cant afford at this point to part with it. Now if theres an upgraded lower pan for the 2.7 v6 with a baffle, I'm gonna get it otherwise I'll make a baffle myself. And get/make and oil catch can for my PCV.
Built myself a new exhaust system for my 745. Problem is, I don't have a welder.
So it's leaking EVERYWERE

working on this pos ford ranger.Fucking asshole bolts that attach the exhaust to the manifold were rusted to fuck so we got a a torch and heated the hell out of it. Then by the power of gray skull I torqued them off, I tell you pivoting Ratchets are the bees knees.
Things to do tomorrow:
•Take off the left side Head /w Manifold.
•Remove the Engine Fan(witch i don't have the tool for yet).
•Unbolt the Engine from the Transmission.
•Lift the Engine out of the bay.
•Replace a Clutch in the Transmission.
•Clean the fuck out of the engine head.
•Reassembly.
I think I fixed my car only running on 3 cylinder when cold. Took out the spark plug from the malfunctioning cylinder and found that there was pretty much no gap at all. Made a bigger gap and put it back in, and it now seems to be working.
Installed my new 2-way remote upgrade today.
Find it funny the new Upgrade is an AC Delco part, instead of a POS Onrom.

Everyone I know runs sidepipes.
If I ever got a Diesel truck I would put them on the sides like that and drop it into last gear smock everywhere
Excellent, my car is leaking diesel from where the pipes connect to the fuel filter housing by the engine.
One more thing to add to the ever expanding list of things to fix.
I flushed my PS fluid and did my rear brake pads for the first time.
I ran out of daylight so I only did the Drivers side and doing the passenger tomorrow morning.
And I'm never changing pads again because I want to destroy these fuckin rear calipers.
How bad are they? Can't be that evil...

Doing track bar. (frame end was loose)
