Seems as though I have an S14 strut bar. fits fine, just a few mm of hood support hitting a small spot. Just gonna take a hammer to it
This is what sucks about buying used but what can I do
I think I'm going to go with ARP studs, I'm told they never stretch. Glad theres an ARP place in Clearwater not too far from me. Also, I keep hearing whispers the my engine CAN accept a tarbo.
Anything can accept a turbo
ARP studs stretch after about the second or third use. I only use a set for 3 head swaps then I change them out.
my car would shit itself if I put a turbo in it :v:
Most would :v: doesn't mean they don't accept a snail.
Any leads on a nice cheapy turbo? I have zero in my area and I don't really know what to look for.
Keep your interior all black serj, different color schemes than factory end up looking tacky in the cars. Repaint whatever is white on your dash black, looks bad, same for the steering column. Restoring the old guage overlay/plastic dash surround thing is a bitch, the chrome spray paint looks cheap and the whole thing never turns out too nice, would only recommend doing it on a really bad dash but yours isnt too bad.
Finally got the pipes I needed for my heater core, got everything all back together, cleaned up, and drivable after about 8 straight hours of work... feels so good to drive my own car again after a whole week!
Also, I'd never washed floor mats using the clips on the wall at the car wash until today. Pretty handy, those.

I run ebay snails with no problems. Just rebuild them if they have shaft play with a Garrett kit and they generally do fine. Since they aren't factory balanced (or balanced well if they are) they aren't as efficient but they get the job done.
Don't let people bullshit you about turbo quality. They're not that bad at all -- comparable to some cheaper name brands for sure.
I may have to check ebay out then. I do have a turbo, but its old as hell ahs few parts and is off a LeBarron. I had it bolted to my 6hp go-kart at one point, made it to 50mph for all of 10 seconds, It sounded like it was gonna shit itself.
What is a Garret Kit? A type of oil bearing-deal?
Rip frod mustagn, we beat on you well but you are now knocking and trying to combust coolant.
~260k on it, we had plans to make it into our dirt road hoonmobile but once it was returned to my friend (his uncle borrowed it) It had a milkshake in the rad/oil and a nice knock.
Now it is being driven by his other uncle until it dies.
Hey, not really a DIY pro, I just need ideas for something. The thing is, I want to put a subwoofer in my car's trunk but I don't want to make it permanent. So screwing it to the trunk won't do it. (I regularly need to carry stuff around)
Can you guys give me any ideas on what to use to make it as easy as possible to take it and put it back and not jump around from side to side back there?

I just mean a rebuild kit made for a garrett T3 rather than getting a knockoff again.
The turbo you have, if it's really off a LeBaron, would be a Garrett T03 with a 7~ pound internal wastegate. Decent turbo but it's got a strange flange pattern and they aren't the most well known, reliable turbochargers. I'd say sell that thing to cover the cost of a decent ebay turbo and use that instead.

I use bungee cords to hold my sub box down, as well as a couple other things (jumper cables etc) and the amp is mounted to the back of the seat, so to take it out all you need to do is unhook the one cable from the amp and pull the box out and you have all the space in the trunk.
Most people I know use gravity to hold their subwoofers in place

Though a 8" in a small box is a bit different than something like this

I use a seatbelt
We used boxes of ramen noodles to hold my buddy's subs in place.
I use glue made from the bones of orphans
What's a subwoofer?

Simple, doesn't take up any more room in the trunk, and it still looks good. Not sure what he'd do if he got a flat, though...

I could sell you one for 90 bucks right now.

That one's fucking tiny though
I could probably fart in it and spool it all the way up

it's a dog that under-barks

Tiedown/ratchet straps are pretty good, I just used the hooked part and wrapped it around the eye which my seats clip and the eye of the hook until it was tight and then knotted it off. All I had to do was put some tie down point things on my box.
I have a picture from a long time ago if it helps any.

But that is instant power, also it has a very ported exhaust housing.
:v:
When I used it, it didn't even have a second of lag.

I'll take a pic of it tomorrow, it's missing a good deal of parts and It's bearings are shiot so have no idea how much I could even get for it. It's got all the main body though.

Hang on to, I'll keep it in consideration. I still have to get some ARP studs and put my damned engine back together.

As you can see, bradley is a hit with the ladies.

If you had the gastric torque to spool up a turbo, you would be too.
Just think, clear out a whole restaurant for you and her, albeit it would be a bit what with all the fans and Lysol to be rid of the smell.

That's actually a very good idea to hook it where the back seats clip to the chassis. Thanks.
