I installed a police siren yesterday. It lets me speak through it as well. I'm going to get into so much trouble with this thing. So worth it though.
Troll around Walmart parking lots and harass those douchebags that hang around there.
HAY FAGGATS GET BACK TO WARK FAAAAAAAAACK
fun fact, i giggled while typing that and drooled on my chest.
bought new waterpump, timing belt and gaskets for my Z6 before I dump it in the wagon. Gets me away from fucking wiring for a day.
Washed my car this morning. Love that clean car feeling.
One of my rear shocks decided to take a gigantic oily shit on the driveway, pulled the rusty thing out and it pretty much disintegrated. Spent a good part of the day reenacting a Street Fighter bonus stage with a friend at the local u-pull trying to get a decent looking pair out of another Jetta. What a bloody nuisance, the winters here eat cars like crazy. Still haven't got through a stripped and rusted bolt keeping the other shock in my vehicle. :canada:
I help waxed my fathers car, clean his and my moms car. Yeah.
Car stuff.
i wanna offer to wax my friends maverick for like $25 thing has potential to shine like fuck
Norway has been rainy so I haven't worked on anything :eng99:
but I've gotten 4 "new" summer tires for the volvo because the old ones have nasty cracks in them and are barely legal and one has a hole in it so it was kinda necessary :v:
300,- for 4 tires
not bad
that's about £30
local dude taking perfectly good tires off of wrecks ftw
I haven't had the chance to work on anything recently either, unless you count two days ago when I put a 15 pound starter on a Cummings inline 6. I figured I'd have nightmares about wires and starters (The starter on this thing has like 12 or 13) instead I hear diesels all the time now.
Also, I'm waiting on some gifts from this awesome dude so I can fix muh roomies car.
I replaced my Valve cover gasket cause I was leaking a bit of oil from a bad seal, turns out that the people whop owned the car before I did stripped the bolt hole on the actual engine, that wasn't fun to fix. But Hopefully this civic can run for another 100k.
But I can feel the Tranny getting old, and that's a bit too advanced for me to fix any time soon.
Also replaced the distributor cap/rotor and spark plugs and wires along with an oil change.

thats exactly what happened to my roomies car except it was the bolt that holds the timing belt tensor in place. I had to remove all but one engine mount in order to drop the belt side of the engine down far enough so that I could tap it out, then I put a heli coil in and viola! Still was a major bitch though, and not having a cherry picker is bad enough...
Yeah, that would suck if it was in an awkward place. I'm glad mine was really easy to get to. But not fun to do.
Drained the oil in my fiero, (prepping for engine removal(rod knock)) and spilled that shit all over the garage floor. :argh:
whatup bros havent been here for a while, been working (80 hours this week lololol) but now I saved up money BUT am not buying a 350z :( :(
if I bought one, I would have like 0 money left for anything and if something happened it would sit it in the driveway until next paycheck soooooo00oooOOO
I am going to swap in a 2.5L KLZE into my Mazda mx-3
anyone got any tips for engine swapping? my friend who knows his stuff is helping me do the swap (Im more of a booksmart type of guy when it comes to cars, not practicality) and Ill be doing his bidding pretty much, handing him stuff and whatnot
so if you guys got any tips on putting the engine in, taking the engine out, buying the klze, inspecting it, ANYTHING to do with the swap plz tell me
