how can you drive with the noise
One hand on the wheel, one hand on the shifter, one foot on the gas and the other near the clutch when needed. I accelerate and brake with the right foot and operate the clutch with my left, my right hand is used for moving the gear lever in position and the left hand is used for steering via the steering wheel. At appropriate intervals, I use my left fingertips to switch on my indicators for turning left or right. I can also use my left fingertips to switch on my high beams during low visibility moments at night. How do you drive without the noise? :smug:
how can you drive with the noise
My Volkswagen is way louder than that. The engine is about three feet behind me in a relatively non-soundproofed housing.
I bet. I know my friend's '69 bug with a '73 body was far louder than my car.
Mine sounds loud in the video, too, But in reality unless I'm on it real hard it's not unbearably loud like it sounds in the video, you sure his phone doesn't just suck as much as mine does?
It's that. He's got an Evo and mic quality is horrid. In reality, cruising is quiet.
So is mine really, once i hit the speed limit in 3rd and shift up into 4'th or even 5'th to cruise, you can barely hear it, but in the video it's making your ears bleed. I've got a Vibrant, apparently the mic quality is horrible on this, too. I always thought it wasn't bad..I haven't found a single camera yet that will record me driving without distorting the audio.

Also after all our projects are done, me and my dad are restoring an early beetle for me :allears:
I just rubbed off most of the horrible brown paint on the side of the jeep and installed a sub in a guy's suzuki sj :v:
I just changed the oil on my 05 Buell with amsoil and replaced the plugs with ngk iridiums.

My Soobie is now straightpiped. It didn't have enough backpressure, so I put some steel wool in it. Now all is well.

Blacked out the tail lights on my track car: Only did two coats of clearcoat so it ended up looking a little matte, but it actually looks pretty nice with the logos blacked out and my matte wheels.
You don't want backpressure bro.
i thought some backpressure was good
That's like saying running into the wind is good if you're trying to run as fast as possible.
N/A engines generally need some backpressure. lolvalves [editline]20th June 2011[/editline] I was doing naughty things to my fenders so I raised the front a bit till I can borrow a fender roller. At some point in my Shitbox cars life, someone removed the belt from the AC pulley.
I took the A/C belt off of my '88 Lancer when it had a chunk out of it, never put one back on because I never charged the A/C.
