isn't that impersonating police?
I'm not having the text, just the colors so no
I'm not having the text, just the colors so no
If you wrote Police in English they probably wouldn't care. Put like New Hampshire state police or something.
Took delivery of this thing
I still have no idea what you did.
Not the complete lack of brown paint down the side of the car, except on the quarter and rear. DERP. Also I think the other side is solid white. I forget.
No brown paint on the rear quarter and the rear door Black paint on the rear quarter and the rear door also took off the N (will get the new type of license plates so I don't need it anymore) and took off the 4.0 Liter and Cherokee emblems Should I re-add the 4.0 Liter and Cherokee emblems :v: I think it looks pretty good with none of them actually.
I meant black on the quarter too, w/e. Also, they're emblems.
they're emblems.
Yesss that's the word I'm looking for god damn my english sucks sometimes [editline]23rd June 2011[/editline]
If you wrote Police in English they probably wouldn't care. Put like New Hampshire state police or something.
I think I'll just go to the police station and just ask them how much other than the color I am allowed to make it police-ish
I meant black on the quarter too, w/e. Also, they're emblems.
I call them badges sometimes.
Yeah, I've heard them called badges as well.
Yeah, I've heard them called badges as well.
De-badge sounds better than de-emblem, imo.
So I took out my fuel pump relay on my 93 honda accord. I'm looking at what is called a cold solder and it is keeping my car from starting. Apparently the smallest gap imaginable is enough to stop a good current. Just goes to show how cars are built so they only just run.

Still waiting on studs and Jap's gotta pay for the turbo (Sorry, Lemon. We were waiting on money to clear) This is Jap's EG. I'm holding off on boost until I have some financial security. I'm still barely scraping by, living with Jap, my dad isn't paying me, blah. I want to find an online job of some sort. Anyone know anything about data entry? How well does it pay and how much time does it take? I need.... Well, I'd like $100 a week, I feel I can get by on that and still have free time to do everything I want. My rent is $40 a week, insurance is $25 a month, phone bill is $25 a month. So my bills are cheap as hell. I just want a dickaround job. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline] Also, me and my house :(
What blue color is that hatch bradley? I like it! I can't wait to get my EG hatch up and running, hopefully the engine harness comes monday.
It was actually done with paint from spray cans, I did the paint myself for him using Krylon's gloss blue, it ended up with a decent matte finish, I used one of those sprayer attachments and shook the can every so often to ensure a good mixture of paint. The hood looks terrible because we tried to clear coat it and it didn't take well to it, so expect a matte finish unless you have a good clear coat to spray on but I wouldn't worry, it looks great. The handles and trim are Krylon gloss black. Over the summer we are going to repaint it black, the blue is nice but we think it would be much better in a gloss black. Total cost of the paint job was $25 for paint, $5 for tape, $4 for sanding block, and I think $3 for the sprayer handle attachment. Definately worth it to cover up the horros beneath, and the way it turns out you'd think it was a 200-300 dollar job. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline] Something just came in! Took all the seats out of my van, cleaned the carpets, scrubbed all the mold off everything, and sprayed on some Armor all. Wish I had taken some pics before I cleaned it. The carpets were black, but now they're red. [editline]26th June 2011[/editline] And I still gotta replace the Fuel pump. Thought it might not be starting because It was completely out of gas, so I filled up a 2 gallon gas can and put it in, but still didn't start. :frown: Started earlier in the day when my grandpa tried, but wouldn't start for me. :saddowns: Oh and it needs new front calipers and tires, and then it's good to go.
Opened up my drivers door panel and tried to fix some missing/broken linkage with some tiewraps, seemed to work, we'll see how long it lasts
N/A engines generally need some backpressure. lolvalves [editline]20th June 2011[/editline] I was doing naughty things to my fenders so I raised the front a bit till I can borrow a fender roller. Didn't really do this today, but we made a video (me and bradley) of my head swap. I am the guy doing most of the talking.
And none of the work. :D
Replaced the battery and tightened the alternator belt on a '78 Olds Royale.
