Wow, that is so simple. I'm so used to fuel injection system wiring... Well, apart from the chicken scratch, it's simple.
Also, here's what I've done with speedometer.

Aluminum. Yes.
i don't think this ones going to break
The 12V+ cable from the battery to my starter is weird, I tested it's resistance and it keep going from 0.08ohm to 1.3k ohm, to a full OVERLOAD (wire is broken?) then back to like a few .24ohm and it just keep changing. might explain why the starter would fail to crank but the bendix would push the gear properly
Retrofit
Nice. What kind of projectors/shrouds? And what temp are the Phillips? I'm guessing 4300K because you're getting the "Halogen colored beam"

Now I really want one, but with a more reliable engine. Thought about stuffing an old 3TC hemi in one. I know where an old GT6 is sitting I think I might ask about, but it's pretty rusty.

Some kid at my high-school in Tennessee had one with an engine from a wrecked 99' Accord. The wreck happened in the rear, the engine was in great shape. That little thing hauls ass now, no idea how they got it to fit.
Accord is FWD. ?????? No RWD tranny for any Honda engine excluding the F2xC in the S2000. [editline]12th September 2011[/editline] And not even close to enough room for a transverse engine, so don't start in with the "made it FWD/Mid-rear"
Didn't even think about that at the time. He said it was from an Accord, I saw the engine and everything it said Honda and had red parts. Could have been an S2000, googling the S2000 engine looks "like" it, it's certainly more probable. Would have been kinda a pain to put it, but certainly more reliable than the older powerplant. The guy literally didn't know anything about cars, and I didn't know much at the time either. His dad put whatever engine it was in as a project.
Nice. Went to look at GT6, guy scrapped it :| d e p r e s s i n g . About to go look at a TR7 that a friend of mine has... Supposed to run but I don't know if he's up for selling it.
god damnit, since the condenser has a gaping hole in it i have to vacuum all the moister from it witch requires a special type of vac that only auto repair people have ;-;
I have one you jelly?

Even in my heavy ass truck it'd still haul serious ass.
My dad has had one since he's been working on cars...gotta be like 30 years ago when he bought the first one. Not like it's a big deal either, it's just a simple wet/dry shopvac...Can pick one up like anywhere. [editline]12th September 2011[/editline] And the nice thing is you can use them for sucking up everything from puddles of standing water to large nuts and bolts and metal shavings etc. you don't feel like picking or sweeping up. I used it a lot in my K10 after we would drill holes for different stuff and i had metal shavings stuck all in the carpet. Worked wonders. It's a bit too weak nowadays for much but still works.
If you're gonna Honda swap it, you might as well put a C32b in it(NSX). [editline]12th September 2011[/editline] As expensive as that would be...
man i wish i had an s2000 engine. Even in my heavy ass truck it'd still haul serious ass.
~240hp and ~160ft-lbs of torque? :C You'd be better off with your 350. FR to FR is an easy swap, drop it in, build some mounts and a driveshaft, then wire it up. It is really that simple 99% of the time.
My step-brother's 2005 Corolla LE died a few days ago. It will turn over, but there is no compression, no leaks, and a sensor on the transmission has been melted off because he over-heated it. Will be trouble-shooting over the next few days. Any advise for working on a 1ZZ-FE? And by turning over, I mean the crank is obviously spinning, but either is getting no compression, no spark, or no fuel. We think the melted-off sensor is the clutch-ignition-safety-thing.

Cars overheat still? (I know)
Cars overheat still? (I know)
You should see this car, he beats the shit out of his cars. I haven't felt bad for a car until I saw a 2005 Corolla with 220,000 miles that's had it's ass handed to it.
woops, wrong thread

Snapped the timing chain/belt, bent valves likely the cause of no compression. It's getting fuel, I'm sure. You can't overheat it and then lose fuel, that's silly. But spark is controlled off of timing on anything with MPFI, so you won't be getting the correct injection pulse/dizzy or coil timing (I'm p sure those are COP design). If you're getting fire and fuel and no compression, it's a head gasket or slipped timing belt/chain, which could mean bent valves. Any way you look at it you're going to be pulling the head off of the engine for some machine shop work, if it popped the head gasket have it shaved and check the block too. If it bent valves have then install new ones, shave the head anyways since it's going to be put back on and you don't want to go together warped, it'll never seal using the MLS they used these days. tl;dr engine is fucked

There's nothing wrong with the head gasket AFAIK, when the engine turns, it spins almost freely, as if the exhaust valves are stuck open. Tomorrow, we'll begin replacing the timing chain and if we see anything else wrong, depending on what it is, we'll either fix it or something. Also, it overheated because there is a hole in the radiator leaking fluid.

That's why I only drove it that far :smug:
