I haven't really worked [I]on[/I] anything but I've helped dad out alot today by moving the caravan he's working on and the volvo behind the house, put away a ton of wheels in the shed and cleaned the Beetle both inside and out and put it away for the winter in a barn about 5 km from here.
Tomorrow (most likely) we'll buy jackstands, mouse poison and.... some thing that sucks up moisture in the air so the interior won't rot.
Jackstands because the front tires are slightly leaking air and if the car stands still long enough it'll run out of air and sit still on flat tires... which is very not good
Mouse poison so stuff don't get eaten by mice.. obviously

Personally it doesn't really bother me at all, but I think it just gives the car a nice atmosphere at night. It's nice to have some color in the car besides a tiny bit on the dash.
Well I had someone offer me $2000 for my EG hatch
So now I'm going to find me another CRX. The rest of the money is going to go towards building my house.

By looking at those pics I can say, that it really gives your car a unique atmosphere. My friend just happened to have "few" strangly placed blue ledlights around the car (Also his meters were blue), while I was testing his car at night, all those bright blue lights just made my eyes explode. But then again, his car was FILLED with those fucking lights.
Did my first car mod today! Cold air intake on my G5 GT. It was pretty fun! Got to learn some things about it.
I tightened a bolt on the door cause it made a popping noise when you opened it.
Purely cosmetic and does absolutely nothing for performance whatsoever.

Dicked around with my radiator and found out that the Coolant Level Sensor broke off and my Thermostat might be bad, waiting for the engine to cool so i can tear apart the thermostat housing and pull it out, already got a replacement waiting if it's bad, even if it isn't i might replace it anyways, lower operating temp.
So turns out my thermo WAS bad.
Let's say from cold to hot on the temp gauge is an inch. Previously, it would run at about half way, and when i would get on it or race someone it would climb up a third or quarter of an inch. Now, with the new one installed, It runs at about 1/4 of the way up (pretty cold, actually) and no matter how much i got on it, it didn't fucking budge, at all. Sweet, no more heat waves coming through the firewall cooking me out of the front seat any time i get on the gas.
Now i just gotta figure out which vents aren't opening with the heater and why, so i can get that working for when it starts cooling down even more...hm

changed the clutch (for the third time). now it's a 6puck ceramic from fydenza...
also replaced the inputshaft seal (it crapped and pissed oil on my previous kevlar disc)
Just bought a rear tow hook for my car.
Took a picture of my car earlier when I was running around town getting plumbing stuff for my trailer because we had to move it around o.o;;

Was driving around and I seen a red VW just like the one Zotic had, black hood and all.
Wideband is nice, will be a good tool for your turbo shuttle.
I'm debating investing in a Delta 272-2 (Or rather a Delta 272 since I think I'm staying N/A)
Sure, it's practically the best cam for a D-series, and I know I'll get a good 15% power increase on a good tune, but I mainly like it for the idle.

I know, I know. Buying a cam for sound is silly. But hey,you have to admit, that's got a nice lope going on. I'm tired of my boring smooth idle.
Besides, I'm pushing around ~120 at the crank right now. I think with some saturated 350cc's, Delta 272, and the equipment I've got now, I can push... Probably 140 out of this little 1.5l. Which isn't too bad for *mostly* OEM components.
I can get a good deal on a 272 right now, about ~$90 for the regrind. Getting in on a big group sale with some guys. Still debating though.
