It's all plastic, i don't see why it would crack.
It's all plastic, i don't see why it would crack.
I believe he means the coating that you just applied. . . I think Anyways today I bought 4 jack stands so now I can get under my car!
My brother did it in his 2001 accord and never had any problems, i'm not too concerned about it.
Changes all the bulbs that was left to change, So let's just say, that I brought change to the unchanged bulbs. Oh god I'm bored! Also fastened my battery

We've seen a bunch of Z's that have been garage and trailer kept with cracked dashes and stuff just because the owner stopped armor-alling it.
Man that sounds shitty.
Spotted 3 more ford truck beds today.
found out why the brakes were grinding: which was caused by this being stuck: ordered new pads, a rotor, and a left rear window today.
Man that sounds shitty.
Tis true, my dad used it on his old Hyundai. One summer he left it in his work parking lot for about 2 weeks cause the weather was good for his motorcycle, and the armor-all was due for a redo before that. Comes back to a HUGE fucking crack in the dash. Probably didn't help that is was july/august and really hot, either.
Well you guys have officially sketched me out and made me wipe down my interior. What can i use to clean my vinyl safely and have it have a 'shine' to it. Because it's a bit dull and worn looking without anything on it.

Whoever did the brakes last forgot to put the bushings in the caliper on the passenger side and tightened the bolts down as far as they would go. So after loosing pedal pressure I put it up on jack stands and when I finally got around to looking at the rotor I was fucking horrified. On the back of the rotor it was paper thin. I could actually break chunks off with my fingers. It ate the piston on the caliper, and my pads looked the same as yours. But now I've got brand new rotors, calipers, and pads. Still gotta take my old calipers back for the core. Don't know what I did with my receipt though. :(

Anyone know how to do Brake Drums?
This is pretty much all I did all day.
Do want.
Anyone know how to do Brake Drums?
they're not that complicated if you take the time to look at them. the springs are sometimes difficult to get loose and place correctly. just take your time and you should be fine take pictures of them beforehand so you know which springs go where

Got my sun roof working on the crx and open, until the motor stop working all-together, relay clicks when I hit the button, oh well got to manually crank her back closed
Sucks, man. I have a stretch head bolt or some bad threads in my D15B block, don't know which. I'm about ready to yank that whole thing out of there and start over, I'd really like to move up to a D16 block with PM3's popped in it but I don't have the money at the moment. If I feel like it I might try to go and grab my D16 block and tear it down and put these PM3s in it, get some new rings, bearings, all that junk when I can afford it. Sigh.

The block is a D15B1 (Though, D15B1, D15B2, D15B7, D15B8 blocks are identical), a very worn block that I should have changed out a while back but never got around to it, and I think it's costed me my head now as well.

What is it doing?
Like I said, stretched head bolt or bad threads in the block. Had been pushing into the water jacket once it was warmed up, went to re-torque it to 49lbs instead of 46lbs (I'm on a set of head bolts, not studs on this motor), one head bolt felt... strange. I haven't had the time to tear it down and firgure out which of the two it is, but in the end it's going to cost me this motor. And I can't tell if it's warped the head until I get it off and straightedge it, head isn't pitted, it just went on the car before I rolled it into the lot at my shop. Everything was peachy. Anywho, if I feel like it I might try to grab my D16Z6 block from the house over the weekend or something, and pop this head off to see if it's still flat. If not, I have another identical head lined up for $50, I'll snag the cam and Edelbrock cam gear off of this head for it. It's an hour and a half away but worth it I suppose. We'll see how it goes. I've been running my shop by myself mostly so it's hard to get things done.
1995.5 Audi S6 5cyl turbo AWD 5sp manual all leather all seats heated sunroof airbags etc. 210,000 miles Car is all original and all stock. In almost perfect shape, four tiny dings. Has all service records since it was brand new, was imported from Germany to Texas and bought brand new. I bought it from the second owner, I'm the third. bought it for $5k, came with probably at least half that in extra parts. OEM Audi B7 S6 wheels, two sets of brand new tires, tons of extra engine parts, pumps, etc.
Shove that in a garage and come back in 10 years. $$$$$$$$
although I don't fancy awd and german cars, this seem like a great purchase congratz
Looks really clean, man. I dunno about the 5k price tag, but that thing looks mint.
5K seems about right for the S6. A6, no.
So jelly. It's just a tad old and that many miles for the price. But hell at least he gave a armful of stuff to fix it with hen it brakes. Congrats On the what I would say "Best sleeper wagon ever made.".
Installed Sony head unit into my picasso. The ISO connector has no ignition wire for the ACC position so I need to take a tap off the cigarette lighter power (IT only comes on with ignition)... once I figure out how that part of the dash comes apart... If anyone has access to a library of service manuals that happens to include the 2002 Xsara picasso, it would be a MASSIVE help if I could get some guidance on removing the lower part of the center console. I've only got a french manual to work off with piss poor images.
Went buy the guy's house who owned my CRX before so I can get the paperwork sorted out. Talked to his mom. Expecting a text from him tonight/tomorrow
