Nah. Mine's easier to get to....as long as you've got some decent arm length. My engine is straight, intake and exhaust are on the pass side, distributor and oil filter on the driver's side. There's literally nothing in the way, and it never gets tight. The only hurdle is someone who's, say, 4' 11'', is going to have to literally climb into the engine bay to physically reach it.
Could easily reach mine from the top of the bay. Just reach around the intake and twist it off. There is TONS of room in my engine bay, despite being FWD. You could actually pull the oil pan bolt up there too... So really no need to crawl under the car. But it's a bit harder to reach from up there. Still not "difficult". Even a short person could change my oil with ease.
I was able to change my oil and filter relatively easy, and didn't even jack it up to change the trans fluid(although, it was harder over all because i didn't have a funnel with a hose).
Use long funnel and pull the VSS instead? That's what I always do. Way easier than the funnel/hose treatment.

When I take off my oil filter, the oil that comes out lubes up the U joint on the drive shaft for my front end. :v:

I didn't know what vss stood for at first either and thought of stalker/that gun, so i looked it up. What i actually did was bent the end of my funnel to fit in the fill hole on the side. I just had to pour slowly, because it was almost kinked shut.

I also put in a drawing of a Panda I did because she likes Pandas. First letter I've written on paper by hand in years
Welp, the Wagovan is done. I was in an accident tonight and some douche ran over the front of the car, I'll have pics tomorrow but I don't know if I can post em yet seeing as legal stuff is not even started. I'm fine though and my room mate who was driving smashed on the brakes so hard she spranged her ankle, shes ok too. The guy who hit us has no license, had his headlights off and didn't even try to stop. I've put so much work into this car all I could think to do when I looked at it is cry...

Shit happens mate, all you can do is either pick up the torch and start another one, or just forever remember as you start a new BETTER project! You'll be pretty hard-pressed to lose legally too if he was driving with his lights off, without a license, etc. Good luck mate!
Luckily the guy has full coverage, so I'm hoping if all goes right we can keep the car. I'm pretty good at fixing stuff so I might be able to pull something off in fixing it. It still runs and the rad isn't broke either, it's primarily body, hood, drivers headlight, and bumper damage. One of the pics I'll post later will show a tow hook that got caught in the driver side bumper turn signal It was ripped off the dodge on impact.
