He just has a 'I-know-everything-I'm-always-right-and-I'm-pretty-great' complex. I.e., has way too much pride.
I've been thinking about visiting my best guy friend that I haven't seen in 7/8 years for a long time. We've kept in touch
during those years and I miss him; vice versa. I'm just really afraid to see him after all these years because the last
time I saw him, he kissed me and told me he was moving away. I was in love with him and I had been for a long long time.
I dont know if I could handle seeing him again.
Especially since he had a baby with this really horrible woman who left him and the baby
claiming she was a lesbian and then started dating her drug dealer. Then, she ended up dating some other man
and now she is getting married to this guy and having a new kid; as if my friend never happened.
He's sent me recent pictures of his daughter and himself a week ago and she is so adorable and his face still literally takes my
breath away.
His father told him 3 years ago that he should have married me instead of the drug addict bitch.. I dont know what to do because I feel like
I'm going to break down and become this emotional mess when I see him and his daughter. I think I might still love him, but
I dont want to. I cant take what happened since then.

I guess I want to know if I should go see him or should I wait until I am single?

Its not like I think about my friend every single day. I've thought about him from time to time and we speak to each other every other 6 months or so because he's always busy since being a single father and working his ass off everyday isnt easy. I'm very proud of him.
But, the thought of ever seeing him again has always been far-fetched since he took the babies mother to court. He wasnt allowed to leave the state because she had visitation rights. But, recently, he was granted permission to leave the state with his daughter if he wishes.
