She's 17, and so am I. I just wouldn't want her doing it at a party or something. If she did it at her house or mine I wouldn't mind one bit. (Especially since she's horny when she's drunk)
There's a difference between 'drinking' and 'getting slammed' though, remember that. I've been at parties with lots of (underage, illegal) drinking since I was 13, and I've never actually gotten drunk, because I make sure to limit myself to only a few drinks.
I don't mind my missus drinking, don't like seeing her really drunk though

I just tend to drink until I notice my speech changing due to the alcohol, then just drink slowly from that point on.
Always good to have a glass of water and bread or something before sleeping too.
Why do you need to keep drinking slowly and not stop?
Because I like retaining the point of inebriation I'm at, and perhaps getting ever so slightly drunker through the night
Just don't be like my ex girlfriend who was mad at me for getting drunk for the first time without her. Fair enough, it could be fun to get drunk together for the first time but she brought it up through the rest of the relationship and got pissed off and hurt every time. It wasn't like we could just drink together at some other point, and she didn't even like drinking.
Hey, saw this article, what do you guys think of it?

I think that's a really subjective list. I disagree with a lot of the things and some I do agree with, I disagree with the description.
There's no universal list of perfect traits for women.
Does anyone else get a caveman sense of pride when you find out you were some girls first?

Well it is the author's opinion. I think a good few of those are great qualities to see in a girlfriend. Maybe not the top qualities, but certainly there's a few good ones. I personally think number one is a nice addition. But a few of them seem like they don't even need to be said, I mean, come on really do they need to put "She loves you". But that's just my opinion.
Everyone list your top 10 qualities for a girlfriend! (or boyfriend for the girls here)
Lets see what comes out, since that list just popped up.
Top Qualities for a Boyfriend
Intelligent
I need to be able to have an actual discussion on news and science and other stuff I find interesting
Funny
I don't mean cracking jokes all the time but have a sense of humour, it's boring if you can't laugh at anything, or make me laugh
Willing to Talk
I don't mean talk all the time, hence why I didn't put talkative. But I dunno I like discussing stuff and talking. Just hanging out watching movies allll the time is boring, being able to stop and just talk is needed too. And I don't like to carry the whole conversation, responses are nice. I had this problem with the previous BF. People say women talk too much, half the time it seems to be because we can't get a response.
Have an Opinion
No really. If I ask you for an opinion on something have a freaking opinion. Not "oh whatever you like" or "whatever you want" Nice gesture, but if i'm asking it is cause I want an opinion, really. I will spite him and take him to a chick flick if he doesn't tell me he doesn't want to see that one. And I dont even like chick flicks.
Compromise
This seems self explanatory, but in follow up to the above I won't try to change you and you don't try to change me but be willing to compromise and discuss on some stuff.
Welll that's 5, and actually all I can think of that I would consider necessary in a boyfriend. Well beyond don't be a chauvinistic bastard and let me pay for stuff too. It's the 2000s I can have a job that makes money too :D

Girls will happily come up with a massive list, but a lot of guys will just say.
1. she must be hot.
Just had a customer who is in 9th grade and has double dd boobs
Jesus Christ

And then they complain when they get crazy self obsessed bitches who wanna know if they look fat in the dress (say no if you want to liveeeee) types :p There must be other considerations if you want to do more the fuck em and leave?
I know a lot of girls who's list is pretty much "Hawt" as well. or Hot and smooth talking. Then complain when they get jerks ;p
Weird list as there isn't any actual specific, unique stuff besides "being able to sustain human connection" pretty much.

i think that's setting yourself up for disappointment
but a big part of relationship is compromise. you don't get to do whatever you want, all of the time. two people are never going to share identical beliefs so there's always things you'll be opposed at. the correct thing to do is reach compromise or talk it out and figure out what works for both of you. maybe sometimes you'll need to make a sacrifice. and if that's smoking, then shit buddy, she's doing you a huge favour. life is full of sacrifice. this dude's advice is the worst ever. if you wanna smoke whenever you want you should probably find a partner that's cool with it. otherwise it's just not cool.
and if it's a long term relationship, she's the one who has to take care of you should you get cancer. she's the one left with nothing if you die of it. that's a pretty fucked up thing to do to a person, all because you just wanted to smoke.
That's where you're wrong. Since when can smoking or drinking or doing anything you like be a violation of a relationship?
You can't impose your will on another person's personal pleasures, and you can't let that dictate how your relationship's going to come out in the future. And smoking is not "doing whatever you like" or a violation of commitment.
Sure its ok to warn you partner, but being all pissed about a smoking? Really? That's not hardly fair. And in this case it's not even fair considering the guy just had 1 smoke that night.
I bet she doesn't act all "I'm sorry I did this" whenever she smokes or does something personal that doesn't please his boyfriend that much. This is just a power game inside a relationship and oh boy do girls love to have power.
I've been in that same situation, my ex would tell me a lot that I was strange when I went out because I smoked and drinked a lot (not that I used to get wasted) but that really pissed me off, I was always like that and she was smothering me.
On the contrary I let her do whatever she wanted. Except when it came to me, I was suddenly the irresponsible prick.
Same thing is happening there.
A girl needs to be attractive both physically and mentally. I need to be able to carry on a conversation and share some interests, but we also shouldn't be shy or reluctant to be intimate.
I need a human being, not a blank slate.

that's a fuck buddy, not a girlfriend. i'm pretty sure most people would prefer being in a relationship with someone who doesn't drive them up the wall.

if im gonna be brutally honest, my girlfriend isn't hot. she's not bad looking by any means, but almost all of you would probably say 'would not tap'. it's not that im one of those losers who goes for low-hanging fruit or whatever. i don't even share many, if any interests with her. she's into anime and erotic fanfiction and all sorts of wierd shit, i'm into electronics and all sorts of computer nerd shit. we both hate eachother's favorite hobbies with a passion. but that doesn't matter because we love everything else about eachother.
if you think that dudes just care about physical appearance, you are either a) a female who is super jaded or b) a sociopath or something that doesn't understand social relationships at all
ok wow i cant believe i typed that, you must have really set me off somehow
that's kind of gross
Out out of curiosity, what did you find gross about it?
that's a fuck buddy, not a girlfriend. i'm pretty sure most people would prefer being in a relationship with someone who doesn't drive them up the wall.
It was a joke. Sorry.

aaaaaaaaaa
next time plz remember well written satire (also jokes) are p much indistinguishable from actual stupids
i mean people who legit think dumb stuff like that post in this thread a lot, so its not like it wasnt plausible that you thought like that

i don't like people who are "hot" anyway.
most of the time they are super-aware of the fact that they are hot and it seeps into their personality.

Agreed, I know a lot of people from high school which did not gave a shit about people because they saw themselves superior to any other person. It is really silly and makes no sense, even when you look good, why not talk to other people normally and treat them indifferent?
Actually I am glad to be at the university, I met tons of people which I consider as "attractive" but still treat people all the same. It is so mucht more mature. Personally people often say that I am "good looking", nevertheless I try to be cool with everyone. Is that so hard.
Although I do not want to generalize here, but sometimes it is just stupid. It feels (to me) like people who are attractive to not try or care to make an effort, because they will always be loved or getting attention.
i actually have trouble judging a person's physical attractiveness, usually when i first see someone i don't think anything of their appearance ([sp]this does not apply to david duchovny[/sp]). if i find them admirable personality-wise they end up seeming more physically attractive to me, and vice-versa.
david duchovny is this the 90's again?
then again gillian anderson...
Milf just gave me her number. Said she was interested in getting me (in what im assuming is)
an entry level position in her company but wow. She was eyeing me like a piece of candy.
srs
she totally wants my dingus bro
So me and my girlfriend had sex for the first time today, wasn't as awkward as I expected it to be and we both really enjoyed it.

Been called by my best friend during sex with my girlfriend before, it was awkward to hold a normal conversation whilst continuing, but he never suspected a thing (Despite my gf's best efforts)
